There's something to be said about concern for the government investigating civilians for politically motivated reasons, but some people are acting like Hasan's being persecuted for something like normal speech or a little Cuba visit vacation when this is obviously different. He's clearly dancing at the edge of the line by doing public PR activism in a country that's well known to have poor relations with the US, and I have no intentions to do anything close, at very least not in the flagrant way he's doing it, so I can happily laugh at the law slapping him around for it.
It's like a real-world politics analog of that period when Twitch streamers were just blatantly restreaming big mainstream shows like Master Chef.

Among other things, Hasan intended on speaking at Oxford Union and SXSW London and meeting Zack Polanski (Green Party leader), Jeremy Corbyn (former Labour Party leader, commie), and Yanis Varoufakis (Greek commie).

This followed a campaign over the past couple of weeks in the UK to ban Hasan from the country.

He is calling for the deaths of conservatives one second and for their support the next. It is like a child killer trying to get kids to vote for his chance to kill again.

EDIT: Lol, Hasan started off his stream today complaining specifically about SXSW, positing that his feature at the conference was merely his benevolence doing them a favor and "not even something I'm doing for any significant personal benefit."
