I said "here" i didn't say "everywhere" you condescending faggot. If i said "everywhere" you might have had a point, you condescending faggot. The use of "here" means where i am, you condescending faggot.

The point clearly escaped you in your rush to talk down to me, the price hasn't DOUBLED. that was my point. THE PRICE HAS RISEN SLIGHTLY. the price has NOT doubled.
Only a fag calls other people faggots. Also no one cares where you are unless it's a red state. Blue states are too far gone to save.

yall are semantics posting, you guys are 2 of the better posters in here, this is unbecoming of you both

clearly the point of difference is very small.

I think the price issue is very localized and what can be true for one can be false for another
That is very fair, dude just absolutely attacked me for stuff he imagined I said.

Apple TV has been a loser, but aside from that, the company knows what their market is and they crush it.
Ironically I'd say a good portion of that is branding issues where by calling it Apple TV they make it so most people think you need an iPhone or a Mac to even use it. If they changed the name and/or had an advertising campaign that reminds people that they can watch Apple TV on their Android devices or on their tv directly they might get more subscribers

… are we talking about the Apple TV streaming service or the Apple TV physical device which is basically just an Apple smart TV except you gotta bring your own display?

I was under the impression that both were reasonably successful, iirc the Apple TV device is still in production to this day.

Apple is also one of the few companies that did not overexpand like crazy during COVID. As far as big tech companies go they play it pretty safe, and have relatively few R&D boondoggles all things considered.
Except they overpromised like crazy with their "apple intelligence" (or whatever the fuck) and got sued for it.

They also have a ton of unused compute in datacenters.

They had several attempts at integrating transformer models ("gen ai") internally that failed, it's not really a "win" as much as failing and being behind accidentally saving their ass.

Statista’s Consumer Insights survey has been tracking which issues adults in the United States consider to be the most important in the country right now, and how they have shifted over time. The following chart provides just a snapshot of these, listing the eight most cited concerns out of a possible 20 options, in the most recent survey wave as well as in the survey wave at the start of the pandemic.

Where health and social security came first in the earlier iteration, likely in reference to Covid-19, it had dropped by eight percentage points by 2025/26. In the meantime, inflation and the cost of living has risen from third position to first position (+9 p.p). Other notable changes include a drop in the share of people citing immigration in the latest wave and an increase in the share of people picking housing (previously in rank 14 at 22 percent). Six of the eight most recent most pressing issues are social, with the sole environmental topic of climate change having dropped off the list, coming in 14th position with 23 percent of respondents picking it, following issues such as education (rank nine), corruption (rank 10) and food and water security (rank 11).

As this chart shows, poverty is now on the minds of more U.S. adults, at least more imminently, than before. Where it had previously tied in 9th position with education in 2019/20 with a 32 percent share of respondents picking it as one the most important issues facing the country at that time, the share had risen to 33 percent in the latest survey wave.

No stalker child. WE at the California state government have decided that NO, you will NOT be allowed to do citizen journalism and investigate California state government corruption.

Enjoy higher taxes. You are already genocided.

Reminder that often what Apple considers a "fail" any other company consider a "good enough we'll patch it later"

companies all initially thought they could transfer Costco's subscriber-based business model to streaming
The worst part is, they probably could have.

This ties into what I was just ranting about publicly trading being evil. They could have slowly developed a streaming platform that could eventually complete with a Netflix and take a portion of the market. Instead, they all acted like they could each have their own Netflix sized streaming platform. They burned massive amounts of money, because increasing share prices is as good to better than paying dividends. They essentially paid to have subscription numbers to impress investors with out making any money off it.

The same thing happened with wokeslop. The studios didn't care they were losing money on them. The Blackrock ESG fund bought their stock for making them, and interested the shareholders portfolio.

Can somebody explain to me why these world cup games are fixin' to be massive logistical clusterfucks? We have NFL games in the same stadium and it's an average sunday, why is a world cup game an apocalypse?
Tens of thousands of drunk foreigners in excess to the ones already there. The roads are incredibly stressed from traffic into Manhattan. Dumb Euros are threatening to walk across I95.

Soccer and the World Cup aren't a one day event. This is a whole month of brown bullshit.

They had one, it was called Hulu. Not sure why it got abandoned.

I was lead to believe with Biden out of office and Trump in charge, America was great again. It's been a year and a half. Why are basic things like this more expensive than they've ever been? $8-$10 bucks for a lb of ground beef? I don't think people voted for this. This used to be poverty tier food.Wyświetl załącznik 9081377
Glanced at my local prices, and seems relatively similar at Kroger. Sam's Club is a bit lower at about 5.80-6.50 a pound.

Niggers in this thread always seem to throw a fit when reminded that gas or food prices can be not amazing in places that aren't democrat hellholes. (I can securely say I'm in a red county in a red state)

NJ GOV. SHERRILL: “We know that people from outside the state have been interfering in the protests and escalating them. 5 of the 6 people arrested last night by state police were from outside New Jersey”
yeah this isn’t news. They’ve been doing this for YEARS at this point. It’s a small group of agitators that go around the country to the current hotspot, so they can agitate crowds and try to get shit violent. We COULD stop this overnight by locking these fucking scumbags up. But no, let’s release them 70 times instead so they can keep it up.

But- you might ask- how do these people afford to do this all the time? Surely they must make money somehow? They do! They get paid to fucking do this shit. Again- this shit could be stopped TOMORROW if we just arrested the cunts funding these useful idiots. They’d go back to being homeless shitheads.

P.S. that cunt Sherrill probably fingerblasts herself thinking about ICE protests. She definitely supports these ‘protests’ and you can’t convince me NJ actually elected her.

Not really, now they've desperately tried to cram Gemini (from Google) onto their devices, and last I read they gave up and was begging Google to basically just do the same as they do on Android for them (i. e. do all processing in Google's cloud, instead of the more privacy friendly model Apple was attempting).
Meanwhile their own expensive servers they provisioned for "apple intelligence" sit at like ~10% utilization doing menial stuff.

My grocery store demanded I can’t walk around in the aisles with only my boxers and a heavily stained undershirt that doesn’t fit me that is covered in stains. Truly, America is doomed.

As I mentioned earlier, the cunt funding these sits in China (and is an indian that got rich selling garbage indian software to governments iirc).
