Why would Bambu even need to censor you Louis? There are far bigger creators with more clout talking about this. The ultimate irony is that YOU are the one astroturfing by posting this to your youtube channel that gets 100's of thousands of views. In a pittifull atempt to influence the conversation. GNN & Louis need to get off their high horses. You are not crusaders for a better tomorrow you are clowns that own youtube channels.

I'm not sure where to post this. Since it's criticism of Bambu's actions, I think this thread is better.
Not a bad video, except for the obvious double standards he has.
There's a few points that I believe were pretty bad:
  • He trusts everything Apple publishes and nothing from Bambu. Apple's recycling and "eco-friendly" policies are a sham. It's garbage. It doesn't exist, it's a total PR larp to keep people happy and feel warm and fuzzy about their products. I'm not sure why he brought that up. You should trust neither companies. Never take anything they say at face value.
  • He calls Bambu Lab printers "hard to repair". If any of you have seen his other videos, he's kind of a midwit. Any printer is gonna be hard to repair for him. There are certain areas of Bambu printers that are a nightmare to reach though.
  • He lists a bunch of individual 3D printer featured spanning a decade to claim Bambu has no innovation. This is typical circular reasoning. Is there a second printer at that time which implemented all of that together, and then it just works out of the box? No. Commercial ones do not count.
  • Plenty reviewers mention the downsides and show failed prints from their Bambu machines. Though, I don't doubt that they blacklist overtly critical reviewers.
  • This guy had a falling out with Bambu, that should have been mentioned right away with an explanation of what happened. He fails to do that.
The video is still pretty good. If Apple isn't the right company to compare them to, how about Nvidia? Maybe they're a mix of both. They have the ease of use typical of Apple products and the shitty reviewer weaponisation of Nvidia. And the absolute worst lockdown found on medical devices.

Louis continues to spiral. Blames falling viewership on YouTube asking viewers if his videos are "formulaic". A few weeks ago, a similar survey asked some of his viewers if they found Louis' videos "emotionally manipulative", which quite predictably triggered him too.

This is just a standard YouTube feature. I get these pop-ups all the time myself. If your videos are actually good, you don't have a reason to be insecure. The algorithm works.

I wish Louis would just drop the victim mentality. It's grating and pathetic. And it's also the reason why his videos have been unwatchable for the better part of a year now. Yes, your videos are formulaic and emotionally manipulative. You keep bitching. Stop that.
 
I don't watch Louis much anymore but it's for the same reason I don't watch GN much either: It's overwhelmingly negative. I think some magic has been lost when it comes to conveying the ideas Louis and Steve want to put out there.

Like the good old days when Louis would walk around the decaying streets of New York City eyeballing every "Retail Space for Lease" sign, having a laugh at the stop work orders plastered over craft paper hiding illegal construction, all while telling stories about these various places. It might not have seemed like the kind of content that leaves a lasting impact, but it did elevate my already burning hatred of property speculation to new heights.

Preaching from the chair doesn't hit the same. Only video I watched lately is the Synology video because we're purchasing new storage gear at work. I already ruled out Synology because of the hard drive bullshit they pulled last year, but it was nice to have confirmation they're still absolute pieces of shit.

This is the most retarded statement I have read today. The algorithm is shit. If Im subscribed to someone, and I watch their videos in full when I do see them, why are they never on my front page? I have probably atleast 200-300 channels I am subbed to. Front page only ever shows me penguinz0, asmongold, autistic game retrospectives from channels i dont watch for games Ive never played, and space videos. I have a much wider variety of interests than that, but youtube latches on so hard to specific things and ignores others completely. God forbid I want to watch a video about something I'm not interested in because that topic will be pushed down my throat for the next week. On occasion it will throw a video with 7 views at the very top, and then I have to feel like im the sole decider of if that video lives or dies just based on the fact if I scroll past it or not. A thread here of random videos has a much higher chance of getting my attention because there is actual variety and things i haven't seen.

What have you done to fight the WEF's "You will own nothing and rent everything" faggotry? Louis has lobbied for and gotten passed right-to-repair bills. GN has forced tech companies to blink and actually issue recalls on dangerous and defective products. Where are your works? What do you have to show for your entire life, besides a Dorito-encrusted keyboard? If you're just gonna doompost about how it's all pointless, nothing can be done, and the people who still care and are trying to do something are useless conspiracy grifters, I suggest finding a nice strong rope and a good, sturdy rafter.
