I seriously never heard anyone bitch about Tuvok. Like, ever, either when it was current or in all the years since. He's generally regarded even by people that hate the show as one of the best parts of it.

I didn't hate Janeway because she existed, I hated her because she was a shitty captain. If Kirk, Picard or Sisko was in command of that ship it would have been home within the first couple seasons because they would have realized they are in too dangerous of a situation to worry about that Prime Directive bullshit.

Also most fans agree Kate Mulgrew is a great actor who did her best with the material she was given, which is objective: most of the Voyager writers were garbage.
As far as I can tell, she's never outright said she hated the character, but she did admit to a fan once that partway through the series she was playing Janeway as if she had some sort of un-diagnosed personality disorder, due to her character changing rapidly from writer to writer.

Kate Mulgrew is a great actress and it's a crying shame Janeway was written so poorly and inconsistently.
There had been Geeks moaning about a female captain for autistic reasons, but Dobson's mental gymnastics come into full play here, where he insinuates that that was the entire basis for criticism against Janeway, when most people criticising Janeway for legitimate reasons.
It's Dobson being unable to see the world through anything than his self-serving "I'm a nice guy - everyone else is a bigotted shitlord" goggles.
