Why is rekieta trying to rape everyone right now? Is his couch potato wife putting out only for the bulls now?

He somehow wasn't able to send Aaron to prison (so far) for Aaron accidentally showing a couple seconds of Aaron in the hot tub with the Rekietas. So its another Nick spiral and the form this spiral is taking is excessive twitter activity and RAPE RAPE RAPE of all his enemies. His favorite anime show is about (In Nick's mind) rape as a means of justice; Nick is channeling the energy of the show but not the magical powers of the rape-y protagonist.

He will probably pass out soon and wake up in a few hours with Dennys on his mind or he will go shopping at thrift stores for more strange clothes for himself.

Ralph boomer'ed out on those messages.
If he had balls, he would post direct messages of Rekieta trying to fuck her.
Ralph has not dropped a complete super nuke concerning this yet (we can hope), but come on... COME ON! How can anyone not believe Nick isn't and hasn't been trying to get together with Scarlett? Even before this tweet from Ralph.
There's no love lost between them, so why not drop the Scarlett Files?
Our only hope is Ralph going Nuclear mode.

In a minor update on that front, Ralph's stream last night played in full one of the voicemails that Icedancer left with Scarlett, out of which her 15 minutes of mildly manipulative rambling (starting at timestamp 5:17:13) are mostly irrelevant here other than prompting a segment in which Ralph confirmed that he didn't blow his load with that tweet and he's still saving the best for last, plus the context may give a subtle hint about what that is:

Icedancer: I don't know if you know, like, my lore, but it's like, everybody wants to talk shit about me because, like, I got with another streamer.
Ralph: Oh, who was that? By the way, one thing gets released in response to this, and... well... a friend of Icedancer's gonna have to pay the piper, I'll just say, because I'm sitting on something and I - I'd rather keep sitting on it, uh, no need, but uh...
[L]

From the context of what prompted Ralph to segue into that outburst, one could be forgiven for inferring that even though Icedancer's reference to "another streamer" was probably just her way of introducing Scarlett to lore about her past with Ralph before Mersh, for some reason that "another streamer" comment got Ralph's mind to jump straight to some whole other third streamer that he knows she also "got with," who to this day has continued to be a "friend of Icedancer's" to Ralph's constant chagrin, namely married father of five Nick Rekieta. This of course tracks with Icedancer having first introduced herself to Mersh as having been "vetted" by Nick in the first place, which everyone at the time rightly assumed to mean the most salacious possible use of that term.

While it would make sense that Ralph's final reveal wasn't going to be added detail about Nick's futile attempts to get in Scarlett's pants (which was already everyone's expectation that was already corroborated by Ralph's past tweet anyway) and it was instead going to be proof of a Rekieta-Icedancer tryst, what doesn't make sense is why Ralph would think that any drug-free version of that story would be at all damaging or why Nick would go to such lengths as all the counter-blackmail to hide it, when everyone from the Internet all the way down to extended family and the local community already have come to expect that the Rekietas have always been in an open marriage without interruption and Kayla's "consent" to each and every dalliance is essentially presumed at this point. If Nick merely "got with" Icedancer, why wouldn't he just shout it from the rooftops and use it to portray himself as a cool gigachad, as he's apt to do? Or at the very least he could fold it into yet another weird and funny tongue-in-cheek non-denial running gag, which wouldn't exactly be anything new:

As always, @gluee is welcome to issue a partial denial or full denial in the usual format.

If watching a video of children bathing that was randomly sent to you counts as watching CP and was chargeable, wouldn't the retard who sent it also be charged for distributing CP?

Yes, the tool who sent underage pix would be charged too. Yup. There is no defense that they are your own kids, which in fact, add charges as the child abuse as well.

Is this true about TB doing this????

Yeah, that's basically Ian. He's knowledgeable, but he's excessively polite. While I've noticed outspoken and rude Canadians, the only topic that seems to bring that out of them is American politics.
Same. Somebody like PPP is an outlier, in my experience.

He will probably pass out soon and wake up in a few hours with Dennys on his mind or he will go shopping at thrift stores for more strange clothes for himself.
No, stalker child, he needs to hop in the rustang and drive like a complete asshole over to Sally Tobacco #2 right now and stock up! They're closing in 20 minutes!

Maybe they'll even have watermelon flavor this time. :story:

Runkle seem more like "lalalala... I don't wanna deal with this."

He'd do very well to have nothing to do with Nick anymore though.

Even in passive-aggressive excessively-Canadian-speak, he just got abundantly clear about Nick not being welcome and when that started:

That they can visually see Runkle hating Nick to the same level they do. WIthout it, you don't hate him as much as they do and that equates to "you must like him" in their minds.

It's kinda like the dabblers needing to make sure that you think Aaron is "not a good person, and the biggest meanie in the world" and if you don't agree....

Letting dumpster fires burn and watching from a distance is the safest strategy. At most, I will allow roasting of marshmallows by the heat.

Nick living his own life and flailing about is its own punishment, at times. He is Greer-like in his sperging--it may take a while, but the tarding cannot be contained.

Guilty by association is a stupid thing.

At the same time, people have the autonomy to choose whom they wish to associate with. And in some way, the friends you choose to have and whom you choose to speak to tell something about oneself.

So, it is not surprising to think that there is a line that people draw as to when the choice to keep associating with another draws negative implications to yourself. I do not think Runkle has crossed that line.

But there are many factors involved in that. And I do not have an objective criterion for it. So I do not expect others to have it either. Maybe these things are the woes of turning oneself into a public figure. You become conscious of whom you associate with in a way private people do not have to be. It is the nature of the business.

Or maybe we're just tired of two bit grifters playing dumb.

Or maybe we're just tired of two bit grifters playing dumb.
That twitter guy seemed to be referring to this Turtleboy (about whom I know little) and Runkle's excuse for being on his stream. It was an illustrative example of Runkle looking the other way in order to work with someone who has a questionable reputation. Maybe this Turtleboy drama is niche, but he surely can't expect us to believe his claim that a prominent lawtuber had no idea about Nick's very public legal issues. Runkle would have to have been wilfully blind, and the only reason for that would be to preserve the relationship (for presumably anticipated clout related reasons), so it's the same outcome for Runkle as if he had known and chose to have him on anyway.

It's just frustrating when people use a bald-face lie as an excuse to grift, then try and take the high road because they 'don't do drama'. It's horseshit. Canadian manners will only convince me of so much.

All of this Turtleboy vs Ian Runkle discussion is extremely homosexual. You can not like someone because you know the lore, but things can still be entertaining. That's kind of the whole origin story of IBS, the whole bloodfued and constant negging because it's the moral high ground is extremely tedious.
Besides if you get one of these characters out of their safe space funny can happen. Ian is a Canadian, he's a practicing lawyer, he streams legal topics (but also games, hobbies, kind of a variety show). He's not Keemstar, he's not a drama streamer, he's not Nick getting Tonka on to snake him.

My only criticism is that they are lending credence to Nick presenting himself as a lawyer. I get the turtleboy wasn't strictly lawyers but there were a lot of them on it. The only good thing is Nick does a good job making it clear just how much of a idiot he is and there is less of chance someone would get tricked.
