You’re exactly right, but the scary thing is I think these retards don’t even realize their own motivations. I think in their mind, they can truly be a “conservative” who supports sexual deviancy, drinks like a fish, argues against women in the home, and supports the idea of sending billions to a foreign nation. I don’t mean to political sperg much but this is the same stupid mentality these people have with Trump as well. “It doesn’t matter if he made bad cabinet picks, fumbled the list, caused all the Iran war crap, and increased inflation, we MUST be loyal to him!!!” That one pisses me off the most. Be loyal even when we feel he hasn’t been loyal to us? He is supposed to be the people’s public servant, we owe him nothing, especially if he isn’t delivering on what he promised. It’s a battered wife mentality.

And look, I know some here may still like Trump, that’s fine whatever, people have their own reasons on why they may still support him, not trying to cause a political sperging flame war, but my main point is I despise this type of “have good faith for no reason” slave-like mentality from many right wingers. Just because someone helped your movement in the past doesn’t mean people can do no wrong or are incapable of betraying you, it isn’t divisive it’s healthy constructive criticism. And no, weeding out bad apples in the movement isn’t pointless “right wing infighting”
