I am of the opinion that anyone who behaves this way should be treated as a full-on enemy of the state, and any immigration status they have should be instantly revoked. One of the main things you do when immigrating here legally is renouncing all other country ties. It should be an automatic, instant, no-questions-asked offense for Immigrants to do this at all.

The thread tends to devolve late at night when no news has been posted in a while. My proposal to fix it would be to temp ban certain problem users from posting after a set time of day so they can't shit things up while seven beers deep at 3'am. Maybe there could even be a system for keeping certain people from posting shortly after a thread has been featured to keep the attention-whores at bay. But maybe this too is a retarded idea.
