It doesn't. Those floor plans are a fabrication. A funny and surprisingly believable one, but a fabrication nonetheless. I forget who made those drawings and when, but it was an era when we weren't sure who lived on which floor. Once the airbnb and its photos were uncovered, all doubt was removed. The ground floor front room is the renters' TV room.

Patrick says he didn't make threats against his wife and child, only his wife's boyfriend. His position is that he said it so it's true, even though the same report also contains a contrary statement by a woman who had no reason to lie. #believewomen
