Wording matters, and you have to factor it through the agenda of the person reporting on it and what narrative they are trying to advance. On its face "we're only 3-4 months away from total economic collapse!" is not exactly something to brag about. And that about lines up with the damage the blockade is causing every day it goes on. Remember the same people proclaiming that another couple months of high oil prices will be enough to bring the world to its knees also happily spin a report like this to imply that Iran is winning because their economy won't totally bottom out and see them eating rats and grass and drinking their own piss until that same time period.

If you think the outcome of a war is determined by comparing body counts then you must think the Nazis beat Russia in WWII. France too, probably. And America won in Vietnam and Afghanistan and the British held onto India.

Wars are won, if they're won, based on the achievement of objectives. Not by tallying up body counts on either side. The USA can kill 500 Iranian citizens and lose one soldier, but if all it accomplishes is economic fall out, hardening the regime and global antipathy towards America, then it's not a win. The USA's costs are estimated to be over $73bn so far not counting indirect economic costs. And the only party that has actually gained from this is Israel which is grabbing the opportunity to invade its neighbours.

This is nothing to do with "shills". It's just not buying into the video game mentality that ignores all costs and actual objectives, and just says "we killed X number of people" like you're trying to rack up a high score.
