💪 Tough Guys Patrick Sean Tomlinson / @stealthygeek / "Torque Wheeler" / @RealAutomanic / Kempesh / Padawan v2.5 - "Conservative" sci-fi author with TDS, armed "drunk with anger management issues" and terminated parental rights, actual tough guy, obese, paid Quasi, paid thousands to be repeatedly unbanned from Twitter

Ade is a dumb whore. As funny as it is and as awful as Patrick is, cucking him with Jon like that is a shit thing for anyone to do to their spouse. When Jon died she immediately sold his shit via Marketplace, and the listings were ridiculous, showing her barely believable idiocy, it was stuff like: ‘A load of plastic Temu junk: $100’, ‘A high-end US-made multi-tool: $3’. She sold off sentimental ‘best dad ever’ type shit of Jon’s too. After she’d done that she moved on, shacked up with and married someone new - very, very quickly. The couple of dollars she got for Jon’s ‘best dad ever’ mug going towards the new wedding. Bitch must have a knack for narrative and dialogue though seeing as she wrote his first - and by all accounts best - book.
She's in love with the idea of marriage, not in love with the person she's with.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL, builder Pat is back!!

This is all sorts of fucked up - anyone who has ever had a flat roof has thought about it, and anyone who did even the most basic of research into it quickly realized why there are so many flat roofs that do NOT have balconies on top of them!
On the bright side, it's merely a porch roof. So when he inevitably compromises it's weather tightness it shouldn't have major impact on the integrity of the house.
It's going to back-leak into the wall and down the inside of the house; that house is cooked.

The cost to do this right is a fuckton and a half, literally cheaper to just build another room on top than to make a walkable balconydeck over an existing roof.

Watch that and you now know way, way more than Ricky does about it.

:story: I can’t tell if it’s sloped but something tells me it’s not fit for a balcony.
Also, imagine being the poor bar manager having to listen to a fat drunk lecture you on how 1 in 10 customers goes to the bar specifically to avoid alcohol.

Nigga that shit is going to break as soon as he puts furniture on it. It’s paper thin. What the fuck was he thinking? Oh wait. He doesn’t think.

I take it Patrick didn't get a permit for this too.
I helped build a few second story decks when I worked construction and it required very heavy boards and the most skilled people we had to install everything, I find it very hard to believe this is legal without actually being experienced or having help from a contractor/carpenter etc someone certified for this work, especially considering he's running a fucking airbnb. For all the things the pests report this fat faggot for, THIS is legitimately one of them.

Now, to celebrate; your mortal eyes will witness the glory of Technicality Tomlinson Six Figure-tier Self-Sufficiency Engineering and Gardening of his own half-hovel! Mortals like us would fawn…

Enjoy prison, stalker.

Also still is a fat faggot cuck with bitch tits.

Doesn't he live on the second floor, or is the AirBNB "up top"? Because if he's going out on this thing, it's completely fucked.

The best flat roofs are not meant to be walked on more than relatively rarely, and certainly not designed to bear a load of all that wood and his fat ass.

What makes no sense is the whole part about fridge space. It's not like it's shelf space in a Walmart or something. Still, it could actually be real, because noone wants to carry inventory that won't sell,
I believe it’s real. He told a stalker child that the blonde bar manager in that lonely Rick pic is his friend, no chance he hasn’t flexed his faucet and tried to lecture her about growing the business. He reads a wiki and fires off a *rubs temples* 1/X twitter thread, this app has probably made him insufferable to the local bars.

That TOR published him was extremely lucky, a big publisher that actually advertises the books and gives down payments is something most authors just dream of.
I was reading an anthology the other day and there was a quote in Jim Butcher's bio that really drove home to me how insanely lucky Pat got with his deal, which makes it all the more comical he's basically wasted it since:

Pat's logic of changing a successful existing business model to chase a theoretical customer base that may or may not actually exist is how you end up with the state of modern gaming or movies, which tried the same thing (changing the existing formula to pander to women/niggers/casuals etc) only to drive away their original audience without gaining a new one.

That are just your architectural delusions, child.

I’m excited, this is a whole new disaster of a project for him and that video gives a clear overview about why you should consult with experts on something like this.

I wonder if he will skip the rails or do something else amazing. I’m looking forward to winter and how slick this deck gets after the snow has melted a little. Whoosh! Gravity is just your delusion stalker.

See also: fast food chains going all-in on salads (marketed as “healthy” while often having more calories than their burgers) and failing repeatedly. Pat wants to introduce the same core structural flaw to bars that those chains inflicted on themselves. Fast food customers are largely there for convenience and comfort — less so value in this economy — rather than nutrition. The people who want salads aren’t typically fast food customers, and the people who are fast food customers usually skip the salad. So chains end up with complicated menu items that are expensive to prep, have shorter shelf lives, and don’t earn their keep. Pat thinks bars should pwn themselves in a similar fashion.

There’s a reason Pat’s not a businessman. But I love when he regurgitates whatever he heard someone say at the bar, just because he thinks it makes him sound smart.

We might need a pool anout the quality of the balcony, aka the degree of how much he fucks it up and if it is ever completed plus how much it cause damage to the house

Ostatnio edytowane:
There is no god damn way that an overhang like that is supported properly, Christ that is inhumanly retarded

Many posters have pointed out why but I really just want to emphasize the lack of structural support
