I'm actually noticing that people are way more worried about political shit nowadays than anyone really used to be. Most you can really do is affect things locally. Like, I'm just a regular dude trying to live. Bitching and worrying about what mean thing Trump says / does just doesn't really affect me at all, 'cause I largely don't give much of a shit.

I dunno. It's just weird to me. It's all I can do to survive month to month. I don't worry about big things all that much. Watching people bitch about those who largely don't participate in voting or being political, like... literally what do you want me to do? I'm a fuckin' nobody. I'm legitimately FINE with being a fuckin' nobody.

Most people look at politics as aesthetics, nothing more. Their views aren't based on any sort of reality. It's all virtue signaling bullshit. They're not actually asking for change. They're wearing this shit like a fat goth kid wearing fishnet at the mall.

I still don't understand how the redistricting ruling really changes anything if you live in a historically Red State. Literally nothing will change. Maybe you'll gain a couple more seats, but that's about it. Take Alabama. We've voted Red for quite a while. The only two real big blue areas are Birmingham and Montgomery, but they're not big enough of an area to affect the overall direction of the main vote.

I get paid, I get my bills paid, I get my rent paid, I got my entertainment and vidya. I largely ignore network news (even from networks whose hosts I sometimes agree with).
