I'd argue she hasn't fully lost it: sure, her videos haven't made her e-famous, but she's also had a number of actual entertainment industry jobs (including gigs for franchises like Pokemon), which Doug hasn't seemed interested in. So if and when the internet criticism well dries up, she'll have a decent resume of work to fall back on and make a living, but Doug and all the other critics who haven't held a real job in 8-9 years will struggle.

You assume she'd ever go back to doing actual work. Lindsay is the type who thinks that she's owed something because she believes she's more intelligent than everybody else. The fact that she's had some experience in the entertainment industry has only strengthened that belief.
That's just normal ass cool girl/party girl shit though, a lot of women are like that. Going out and enjoying life and having fun. TBH There's no reason not to live your life like Lindsay, especially if you can . Going out partying, enjoying life, getting drunk and exploring drugs and shit, having tons of experiences and sex and shit, just whatever you feel like. Men are disposable, she'll always have some around to pick from so its not like shes really burning bridges, and she can stop when shes tired of it. Even getting an abortion just on a whim, whatever, she could go out and hook up again that night. If someone has a problem with her or what she does, or if she has a problem with them, gets tired or bored of them or whatever, she can just drop them and find another. But why wouldnt you live your life like that and experience all that shit and have fun with it? Youre only gonna die, she's got a pretty good life. Least she's living. Why would she give it up?
It's not an issue of "going back" to doing actual work since she's been doing actual work for the past several years (excluding time spent working on grad school) though. It's what gives her the freedom to have a more erratic uploading schedule than many of her peers, even though she probably makes more bank off of Patreon than shitty underpaid post-production jobs anyway
