One thing to keep in mind is that in Wisconsin, a marriage lasting 20 years or more is considered a "long-term marriage," which often results in indefinite maintenance (permanent alimony payments). Anything less results in a set period of alimony payments, often half the length of the marriage or one year of alimony for every three years married.

Because divorce include assets, retirement plans, and even trusts, I imagine she's waiting for the 20 years to hit. That, or she'll jump ship before he files for chapter 11 so she isn't stuck with the bill.

But that's the thing. He seems more invested in being a creep toward women than actually having sex with them. We currently have more evidence that he has more sex with men than with women. It reminds me of autogynephilia, where straight men get jealous of not having vaginas but sexually project themselves on other women. It doesn't seem like it's the 'bull' he's trying to cover for, it's his overcompensation for lusting after women (and possibly girls) he wishes he could take the place of.

By the way, I've seen Melonie Mac fawned on in a few podcasts these last few years and whatever her physical 'merits', it's obvious to me she's an utter airhead who parrots other's talking points and has absolutely nothing of her own to say. It's very easy to lecture others on sanctimonious scripture when it's written out for you with the implication that it's inherently self-righteous. She's of course entitled to play the grifting game, many do, but she's not a victim in this nor a maligned third party. She's chosen to be the Quartering's employee at great loss to her own supposed prestige, and there's only so much discomfort you take before you're simply comfortable with it as a paid collaborator.

I have nothing but contempt for DSP, and yet Jer is DSP-maxxing so hard I begin to think 'maybe DSP isn't so bad'. He is. However, it's crazy how Jer has basically outdone Phil in almost every category:
  • His flagging has been more significant and successful;
  • His alcoholism (especially since DSP's switch to direct capture) has been more obvious and damaging on stream;
  • His begging by sheer dollar value is much higher ($380k just for coffee crap);
  • He seems to shaft charities more (at least DSP provided a receipt for his little donation);
  • He also doesn't have sex with his wife, but he seems to enjoy his wife getting fucked by other men (DSP just represses his fantasies about sex with other men);
  • His consumerism is the same, but because he has more money he just spends even more on useless shite;
  • He is more obsessed with views than DSP at his peak;
  • He is fatter... much much fatter;
  • He is much more of a pervy creep, because DSP is scared of women and can't go outside to places like Renfairs;
  • He uses the same cope and seethe strategies with his detractors;
  • He is almost as useless as DSP when interviewing other people (Jer is better at it, but arguably more annoying); and
  • His scams are monumental - a whole ass coffee company versus a cat reveal.
That being said... Jer will never be DSP. DSP has a singular win-condition and it's getting money from his whales. He has no need for dignity or friendships. Jer cares too much about what other people think, especially e-whores.
