I have one major problem with this. Yes you are right that "labor shortages" drive immigration. The problem is there is no actual shortage. The shortage is of people who want to do the work for slave wages, no benefits, and none of the other things you would expect to get by on. Especially with how much worse the economy continuously becomes (meanwhile companies are reporting record profits, and stock prices).
Blaming a labor shortage is the exact kind of rhetoric these people often use to dismiss the use of modern day slavery, And justify what these companies are doing because "americans don't want to do these jobs". When that just isn't true. Americans need jobs more than ever, but companies know if they can get slaves to do their work, they will pick them every time over paying a living wage to people born here. Especially because illegal immigrants often times come over, and live with 6 or more people to a house (I literally had illegals that were neighbors and yes they had a whole group of people living in the house like that).
I will push back on it every time. Because this is the actual problem with illegal immigration, and to a large part mass immigration (although that can have somewhat different problems behind it depending on the exact situation). It's the problem with h1b and other programs like it.
This is why I hate it so much that the far right has turned the discussion around immigration into a faggy "save the white race" talking point! Because people don't even think about the real motivations behind it, and the real problems with it. And it's the perfect fuel to give to the people on the left that argue being against immigration is racist. When race isn't even close to the real issue with it. And I've said this idk how many times now, but the left should be as against this if not more against it than the right even. Because the left used to care about the workers in America. Unfortunately they're as bought out by corporations, and jews as the right. So their media plays into the same sort of bullshit talking points that obscures the actual issues.

I'm seeing stories talking about the reclassification of marijuana by Trump recently.
This stuff would be great to me, (and overall I do want to see this kind of thing). If it didn't just feel like he is desperately trying to make people forget about everything he's done in his first term up to this point, and the massive disaster that is the Iran war. But unfortunately he fucked up so bad, the goyim now know, and there will be no shutting it down.
Really though. It feels like an obvious attempt to save the midterms. I hope he at least keeps up this kind of thing, instead of doubling down on more horrifically bad decisions like the Iran war bullshit.
