They literally let violent elderly people have free-reign of the place and assault other elderly residents with no repercussions. They confined one such violent offender to the upper floors but he just free roams anyway because fuck the elderly's well-being, I guess...

The technical term is something like motivated reasoning. Particularly for people with poor engagement with complex issues, they'll take a lot of their political stances from social/elite cues - basically "our people tend to agree with this", or NPC programming to regurgate talking points they don't really understand or can meaningfully defend. From there, they basically know what the conclusion is supposed to be, and then they'll try and come up with a reasoned approach to match it, even if this reasoned approach is basically "the people I trust say it's true, so it must be true" or "the people who say it's false are compromised and cannot be trusted".

the ONLY people I see defending trump nowadays that are actually American are Indians in America or 50 year old neckbeards.
But we have to understand something. Most people in 2025 who voted for trump are not "DIEHARD" patriots or people who would defend Donald Trump to death, they don't view X every hour defending him, rather they just saw the voting ballot and voted for Trump because of something they saw from when they very briefly viewed the news. The people who are like this on X really don't represent most Americans and even Trump Voters. There are Diehards on every side, but the truth on the average voter is alot more depressing and that they just don't put that much thought. In my opinion of course, I could be completely wrong. You really CANT predict WHAT the country is thinking, Election predictions have always been random and weve failed to predict landslides alot.
