How much sexual abuse do you think the Gnostics were doing?

"Moral laws are a spook because the demiurge created them"
Or redemption through sin in the case of the Jewish Sabbateans, by following the path of the Qlippothic way (tree of death in kabbalah/left hand path), that is the inversion of the tree of life, to reach the Shekinah (tantric female principle/Isis figure) uniting both male and female principles to fully achieve redemption. It's a play on the alchemical concept of nigredo transmutation that's in a way a sort of harrowing of hell moment the person has to go through in order to reach ecstasy/gnosis/redemption or whatever.

It's why in cults the guru always promotes ego death since it's a way to break them down to the nigredo state in order to reprogram them, or really, to take advantage of you easier, essentially acting as a demiurge themselves.

tantric buddhism
I forgot to mention that ancient gentile cults have a very different meaning compared to modern day sex cults, because I am pretty sure that (and other Gentile sex cults like the cults of Bacchus) aren't just excuses to rape women and get hundreds killed and Jeets aren't animals yet until the last 50 years and especially in the last 10 years where the United Nations hires them en masse to turn the Internet into essentially the virtual Aral Sea.

That said the Gnostics are still very ulikely to have any sex cult in the modern definition at least.

It’s the secret teaching + small group isolation that sets off mega-rape alarm bells.
In the olden days? It was just warring factions of Christians yelling at each other, so average abuse unless something was extra secret. Depending on the section of the world at the time, they might have been catacomb Christians whether you were mainstream or rejecting the demiurge.

Now, if you're talking revivalists after much of the original gnostic movements passed, definitely. There are still small religious sections that survived that are called gnostic like Mandaeism, but they would just have the regular amount since they're not a secret society.

There's a book called The Shadow of the Dalai Lama that goes over this. You could read it here if you're serious.
This sounds more like a self-contained death religion like the Mayans than a sex cult at least before the 14th Dalai Lama. That said 14th Dalai Lama is definitely a bona fide establishment plant especially because he is one of the only Buddhists that has ever made it to TV and mainstream media worldwide and has support from the CIA. The only other one who made it in is Shoko Asahara whose Buddhist beliefs are also mixed with Christianity and some other breeds of Judaism and he is also unhinged.

You talked about Tantric Buddhism which also has literally nothing to do with modern religious sexual abuse. Also Buddhism is a gentile religion (and one of the few that remains).
Do you think avenues and opportunities for sexual abuse and institutionalized sexual abuse have zero chance of existing among sects that ritualize sex?

It can happen anywhere, but it seems like the odds crapshoot in some belief systems and most of these systems are on the other way around of ritualizing sex.

I swear you hear way more nasty records of insane exploitation from Communists or Muslims than the Cult of Bacchus and Gnostics, but it could be also because we hear very little about the workings of the Cult of Bacchus or the Gnostics.

Zero is an overstatement however, we do have the Children of God and the Dalai Lama after all.

This thread is probably the most funny Ive seen. Is there even a Gnostic cult or modern gnostic religion diddling kids? Also as for Buddhists the Dalai Llama sucked a childs tongue which is disgusting but when I spoke to local buddhists monks all they told me was homosexuality was a material sin and that I should love my husband(yea Im a fag, sue me) platonically and not commit sexual intercourse with him. Did not get any kiddie diddler vibes from them. They mostly spoke about meditation and seeking peace and removing earthly lust. I went to a Catholic mass recently and there wasnt even a fucking Bible, was willing to settle for the King James version as shitty of a translation as it is, within reach. Also the priest was from the Phillipines or something but his english was fucking horrendous and I couldnt understand anything he said but everyone seemed to know when to make the sign of the cross or whatever...was very programmed and ritualistic. He was too busy for confession either even though I arrived 30 minutes early for mass as they said on their website. Truly the McDonalds of religion.

Buddhist monks lived in some private house and offered to speak with me and give free meditation advice. Reached out to a former Jewish friend and asked if I he knew a Rabbi I could speak with(go ahead and read some of my previous posts on this website, I said kike unapolgetically) and he told me his Rabbi doesnt speak with non-jews and doesnt discuss Judaism. The fucking Imam was willing to speak to me, call them goat fuckers and sand niggers but he was willing to speak with me and his english was better then the catholic priest.

My conclusion is Daoists won. Zoroastrians a close second.

>"Christian" cult
>literally has "Morning Star" in the name, aka Lucifer

Incredible.
Not for nothing, but ' Morning Star ' is also used to refer to Jesus in Revelation 22:16 as ' bright Morning Star ' which is Him speaking of Himself. It's actually a very deep rabbit hole for any interested. Forgive the shit sources, but best informational / debate style references I found.

Original:

Revisit:

The phrase itself is reference to Venus since it's third brightest star I guess, but there's other oddities with Venus like spinning the opposite way.

Yes, it does, and they do, but shouldn't hastly jump past the obvious either. If I abstract the belief system which of these two seems more plausible?
  1. An area is creating predators that also hunt their prey there.
  2. An area attracts predators because that's where their prey are.
Now you can make that area anything from a belief system, to camps and clubs, or literally anything else. There's also the whole vocal minority aspect where a few blow up to seem a lot. Like the notion that the Catholic Church has far more occurances than the school system. From a statistical perspective it's beyond fucking retarded.

The Department of Education actually did a study on this a while ago.

Not sure if they've done more, don't care enough really, but they've done one thing at least given all schooling is handled at the local and county level

Given the username don't misconstrue this like I'm defending the deranged cunts either. Shit should be instant death, or make them eunuchs if nice. Anything above zero is fucked up, but fear bashing the shit out of others has its own problems. Both start self-replication cycles unto others unwillingly. Can't unread shit, nor can one be unraped. There's long effects afterwards especially if one continues to think, ponder, or dwell upon.

The Borborites were eating babies, cult leaders were having sex with all the woman as an "offering to god."

Sexual sacramentalism

Epiphanius claims that the Borborites were inspired by Sethianism and that elements of sexual sacramentalism formed an important role in their rituals. He asserts that the Borborites engaged in a version of the eucharist in which they would smear their hands with menstrual blood and semen and consume them as the blood and body of Christ respectively. He also alleges that, whenever one of the women in their church was experiencing her monthly period, they would take her menstrual blood and everyone in the church would eat it as part of a sacred ritual.

The Borborites were also said to extract fetuses from pregnant women and consume them, particularly if the women accidentally became pregnant during related sexual rituals. Buckley notes that this implies treatment of an aborted foetus as "strayed semen", and would serve to prevent it from developing into another body "for the archons' clutches".

This is a Jewish saint and I will not trust him over that subject. Medieval Christians (aka Jews or Shabbos Goys) are very vicious about attacking their enemies and a lot of time it's either flat-out faked excuses used to burn down gentile/heretic faiths or grossly exaggerated.
Well, this was in late Roman times rather than medieval. You can make up whatever you want to slander your enemies sure, but there are lots of weird little cults out there. Times were tough, Rome was failing, it's not unreasonable to believe a group of some 80 proto hippie wackjobs were having orgies and eating fetuses / period blood as some sort of esoteric ritual.
Larger cults need more evidence of their beliefs and practice.

The Gnostics probably are the genuine successors of early Christian groups. they were always touched in the head, turning to worship Sophia as a hidden feminine aspect of the Hebrew God as a cope since Christ never came back during their lifetimes like he was supposed to. You have to dive into esotericism when your apocalyptic cult promised the messiah would come back while some of the apostles were still living and he just never did.
