I think people are a bit misguided about HCB's looks. I'd argue that if you removed all makeup, filters and lighting, HCB likely is much more naturally attractive than Melanie Mac. Mel spends hours meticulously crafting a barely viable illusion while HCB dresses and presents herself modestly.

You know what, this is a very good take. I agree. HBC is elevated because she dresses and looks modest, humble. Melonie does all this work to craft an image but falls short of her intended goal, she is arrogant and this brought down.
