Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.
I think it's overlooked in Christian circles because it's less expressly "religious," as the Jews in question were fairly deeply assimilated into a different culture and we don't see God talking directly or through a prophet. It had some baller illustrations in the Bible Story Books I read as a kid, though.
I’m wondering: because Trump is a carney at heart, and his time spent in pro-wrestling and what not……maybe this entire this is a work? What if the targeting power plant and infrastructure thing is one big distraction for something else? To say one thing then swerve at the last minute to something no one had thought of, but it would make sense.
Look at how we rescued the WSO pilot: we were there the entire time and they didn’t even seem to know it. He knew they would use human shields if he just named the targets, and look what they’re doing. Could be to take the island(s)? Something else entirely?
I really wouldn’t be surprised then everyone surprised and the media get butthurt because he “tricked” them again. But then again, all speculation on my part.

It would be an interesting humanitarian strategy, to convince them to load all of the women and children into the power plants, then bomb something else, leaving the human shields safe for the moment. Idk what's actually going on, but the idea is intriguing.
What's very cartoony is the specific time and date when they want to set up their human shields. They can't be that stupid, right? Okay, we'll just blow up everything before the human shields show up as scheduled!
Oh I suppose the Bible version it is. I just wanted to make sure I could get as close to your view of the text as I could. Wow I never recalled the dream at the beginning! That really gets at it.
I was about to comment about it being too short ranged for Darby, but she boosts it, and is stealthy enough for it not to matter.
Why didn't you give her extra camo? She's like a ghost when she has -6 visibility.

That's what I'm estimating too.
It's not just a simple case of playing the bad cop, but intentional misdirection.
The regime should be most worried about what he's quiet about.

BREAKING: Iran is organizing nationwide human chains of youth, athletes, and artists at every power plant in the country at 2 PM Tehran time tomorrow, per Iran's Ministry of Sports and Youth. The campaign is named "Human Chain of Iranian Youth for a Bright Future." Its slogan: "attacking public infrastructure is a war crime." International signage will be displayed for global media coverage. At least 2,000 NGO members are confirmed. The chains form 13 hours before Trump's 8 PM ET strike deadline. Iran is gathering civilians at the exact infrastructure the US has threatened, and televising it to the world.

The real question is... why 13 hours? 13 hours before the deadline is a long time to hold people up, and this government can't even afford to pay or feed its troops reliably. Then again, it doesn't say they will be told to STAY there all day...

Do it in the dead of night. Let the media cry TACO and then just level it all while the kiddies are home taking a nap. Unless they're planning on site IRGC sleepovers.
This is retarded diplomatic slapfighting. If this was Japan or Thailand I would expect that with a wink and a nod. This is Queer Starmer, a sleazy lawyer from the ICC who made it so you can sue his own soldiers even if they were following lawful orders. He is trying to set himself up for private practice suing Trump and trying to get him on warcrimes after.
Retarded Journoscum & most civilians cannot grasp the concept of preparation. If things are even remotely spicy that plane will be in the air.
If that plane is needed to be in the air and isn't, it will be too late.
Same reason you move a quarter of the US surface fleet off the coast of Venezuela, when really we only needed one ship. (And hell, we didn't even need that, the mission could have taken off from PR.) But if VZ hadn't folded, we'd need those assets even if US boot never got any mud on them so it was better to have them an not need them than need them and not have them.
I'm definitely surprised that the protests before the air campaign began didn't end up balkanising Iran like they did Syria. The state did chimp out and gun a lot of people down, just like in Syria. The state of their economy is even worse than Syria's was in 2010-2011. And yet, nothing happened.
Completely different situations. Syrian Separatists were always there, but the same conditions that lead to the rise of ISIS gave them a huge boost in power and recruits. The Syrian civil war was more like the US Civil war, the rural western part of the country going to war with the urban east - but the population disparity wasn't as wide, and foreign aid showed up.
Basically a lot of Good Ol' Boys out in the mountains away from the watch of Achmed Law - lots of guys who can get their hands on an AK. And most of the early "Free Syria" was out in those boonies with limited state control.
The Syrian Army was also not unified. there were "ethnic units" and most of these defected to the Rebels early.
Iran is mostly urban bugmen, disarmed and cucked since even before the IRGC took over.
As @BigJoey41X points out, Iran's borders are more-or-less natural instead of imposed so there is less ethnic strife; the demonstrations weren't an ethnic war masquerading as anti-government. The people were completely cucked and disarmed with no weapons to resist, and the IRGC had pulled in Iraqi fighters early on to massacre them. the IRCG units were also rigorously indoctrinated; none of them were going to turn for the protestors because "their people" wouldn't be among them.
tl;dr: Syria's resistance was armed. Iran's was not. Lynch any leader who wants to disarm you.
Could just be a sheer numbers/size thing. Syria isn't as big as Iran, and it didn't have multiple proxy groups that it could call up for emergency mass suppression.
Despite being ethnically diverse, Iran has remarkably historically avoided the typical inter-ethnic strife that plagued a lot of nations, the modern borders of Iran has more or less stayed the same for the past 150 years, the modern borders of Syria is pretty much a colonial product born after WW1 and the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire before becoming fully independent after WW2, the previous Assad regime previously had to use a lot of heavy handed force to suppress the internal ethnic and religious divisions that had been bubbling for decades before finally exploding in 2011.
Iran never really had to do that, or at least to the same extent and brutality as what happened in Syria, the ethnic groups of Iran are broadly fine with living in the same country, and have been for hundreds of years even before the modern borders were formed, while Syria's borders are an artificial colonial byproduct.
You can pretty much stop at "Iran's borders formed more or less naturally, Syrias were imposed by France". But even then, Iran still has to deal with Kurds, Balochs, Some other northwestern group I forget (I don't think its pashtuns) separatists who do effectively run fiefdoms and blow stuff up from time to time (part and parcel you know). Its not all sunshine and nightsticks, but the restive minorities are vastly, vastly outmatched and out powered.
Iraq has 3 principal ethnic groups, none of the others had enough power, and given that if any two of them teamed up they'd be able to genocide the third, its kept them in a Mexican stand off.
US Marines as we speak are having their diet changed from crayons to green colored pencils.
Airforce paper pushers rubbing pencils on blank sheets of paper over paper cups furiously r/n.
US army taking cheese graters to black soldiers this very moment.
Navy has press-ganged every 3rd-world port whore into the galley to burn all the food to a black crisp.
Trump has said multiple times, both yesterday and today, that Iran will be given no more extensions. Then that WSJ article came out (yeah, shitty source) saying that even he is pessimistic at the prospect of a deal being done in time, especially after seeing that ten-point list of nonsense Iran sent back, and he's always raving about how close they are to a deal.
The only way I could see him cucking out without completely tanking his reputation is to claim that they had to pull back because Iran used civilians as human shields, but even then, he could just use graphite bombs.
That's exactly what I'm saying. I don't think Trump folds unless there is something solid & actionable from the regime, but if he does and its more worthless negotiations after that posturing I'm going to have to side with the retarded leftoids and agree that's a shameful TACOing.
Difference I'm not losing my mind (or working those beads against my prostate) until we see what happens.
Continuing from this, even Ravid and Axios can only squeeze a "maybe if he sees a deal coming together" to justify an extension, followed immediately by saying the admin is skeptical of it happening and that Trump is more hawkish on striking them than anyone. I think something will happen, I think Trump is having a big mad. I'm just willing to entertain the possibility it won't and we're back to pointless negotiations.
Yom Kippur war was needed to establish a peace with the Egyptians btw, it would have never happened without Egyptians regaining their "honor" after 67/war of attrition. This is why they absolutely lose it over the idea that they didn't win it and name multiple cities after it.
I partly agree but dispute you on why it was needed for the peace deal to go through; 73 made Egypt realized how absolutely fucked they were. They had the initiative, they had allies, they have EVERYTHING in their favor, and they still got rolled. Sadat had a full on melty, he was afraid he was going to get couped in the aftermath. Egypt was also being raped economically and couldn't keep up.
Also with Nassar gone, pan-arab "Nassarism" was something that was just too expensive for Egypt.
then the government realized how much better everyting was when you weren't trying to prop up ungrateful shiftless arabs and could buy weapons that worked from the US instead of Soviet copeboxes and never looked back.
Except that small period when Obama let the muslim brotherhood take over.
Look, you know I'm on Team Jew, but is there a reason to take the Aleph's word without him deferring to something? Does he end up being weirdly prescient about stuff a lot? I'm hesitant to believe things when it's just a xeet, you know?
