Yes, we all know that when people bomb other countries they should sanctimoniously talk about how of course they hated doing it but that this terrible action was necessary in the name of freedom. How dare Donald Trump not engage in a performative display of contrition and reluctance?!

Cybersecurity did not "get shut down;" it's boom industry right now. AI's created an infinite attack surface, regulators are tightening ransomware defense requirements, attackers are using one-off AI-generated malware, on and on. Cohesity's hiring, Trend Micro's hiring, Commvault's hiring, Palo Alto's hiring, fucking everybody in cybersecurity is hiring right now. The need for security has so outpaced what medium-sized and smaller companies can do that CISO-as-a-service companies are popping up and raking it in. There was a deceleration in some of the retail-aligned industries last year, but it's picking up in health care and finance.

‘Cybersecurity’ is usually a minor or other specialization, not a whole degree. He probably took a ‘cybersecurity’ course at DeVry or something where he learned how to install Norton and run CHKDSK.

I want to be charitable, i really do. I just can't help myself.. It's pretty ironic Bibi saying this, but I suppose if you look at the hannibal directive, no one is really left behind, israel just kills them before they get captured, heh.

I don’t think some of you guys realize that non-Muslims will say “inshallah” as a joke. Nobody takes Allah seriously. He doesn’t exist.

It’s just funny to use some other ‘god’s name in vain since I would rather say “Merlin’s beard!” Than say “JFC” on any day, not just Easter Sunday. And allah willing may you all have a good Easter inshallah!!

Because Muslims don't believe in cause and effect, everything that happens happened because Allah Willed It as a non-Muslim you're supposed say that when ever they're crying about the consequences of their own actions. If you were a better Muslim then your Bronze Age raid of an Israeli music festival wouldn't have resulted in the Israelis fucking you over. If America and Israel are pushing your shit in, it's obviously the Will of Allah because you're bad Muslims. If you got smoked by PJs while trying to capture an American pilot, Allah obviously willed that, sorry man you just suck.

It's a degree at some schools. But fundamentally it is a degree for people who couldn't hack it at computer science or engineering. ALL degrees in IT are this, in the United States.

Israel's really different because they have universal conscription, and this means that all of the smartest computer-oriented young people they have, are immediately and at a young age put into cybersecurity as a field.

Israel is miles ahead of other countries at cybersecurity because they pull their best and brightest to do it. In the US and most of the rest of the world, cybersecurity is where you end up if you're not good enough for a CS degree.

So a lot of the "I can't get a job in cybersecurity" guys are very average people with extremely mid performance in life, but they think the degree will give them a ticket to the big time. It will not, because nothing would give a 100 IQ person the massive leg up to hit the upper class from some standard wagie occupation. Cybersecurity tricks people into thinking it's a smart person's job, but actual cybersecurity practitioners (outside of Israel) all got C's.

The amount of traitors, fools, and spreadsheet pencilnecks that think equipment is worth more than people is great in number. That is why we must win this war. Glory to God!
