Someone mentioned this earlier in the thread, but his sores are likely from levamisole in the crack he smokes. It's a dewormer for horses that metabolises in to a dirty stimulant called aminorex that boosts the high and it gives cocaine that sought after "fishscale" appearance.

I don't really see Boss switching over to meth, crackheads and methheads are separate breeds. Boss is totally addicted to those quick up and down dopamine hits. It isn't complicated. The justice system is overwhelmed by offenders. Austin is in the advantageous position of only bothering the people who enable his addictions and provide his freedom. Nobody in the Louisa County prosecutor's office really cares that he smokes a bit of rock from da ert or puts Ratdad in his place. They only care when someone commits an egregious felony or is so fucking stupid that they shit all over the 'get out of jail free' cards the county hands out all day, everyday.

The image of the corrupt justice system that grinds everyone who encounters it into dust is a stereotype for a reason. It's pushed by lefty fags for a reason. You can get screwed over by a corrupt police force that does whatever they want. You might get some fucktarded lazy judge(s) like in the Moon v. Greer case who actively refuse to do their job. The truth is the people who get burned by the courts are those who play with fire.

i agree when it comes to cities in liberal hellholes. But he's in a relatively small, heavy republican county. I figured they would not fuck around with even petty crime in a place like that.

That might have been the way decades ago, but petty crime has exploded in rural areas thanks to the opioid epidemic. Guys out of work from injury got hooked on percs and were handed them hand over fist. They became dealers. Hillbilly heroin became actual heroin as and now it's fent. Shit, fent was old news a couple years ago and all the dopefiends were on some fucking horse tranquilizer up here at least.

You really have to try to go to jail over drugs these days. It isn't the 90s and Kamala isn't handing out 3rd strikes to build her political career anymore.
