I Read through that twice, the legalise is even more ratty than usual. So they're allowed to sue Elon for perceived damages incurred by his actions while he headed DOGE. The Not-for-profits in New Mexico, who had government funding cut or reduced by DOGE, can now sue Elon for the losses. Am I understand this correctly? Because that sounds nightmareishly retarded.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but typically when you try to sue a government agency you can't directly sue the agency, you have to sue a specific official or member of the staff. I didn't read the ruling but it might just be saying that Elon is the appropriate person to name as the defendant, even if DOGE will be responsible for any judgements

They can technically sue, but that doesn't mean that they'll win.

I always find it so funny how lefties respect of the military only applies when it's a guy they like. I remember way back during the bone spurs arc (I was intentionally apolitical at the time because I was so sick of hearing about orange man) a friend of mine who's lefty and Anti-Trump was filling me in against my will and starts ragging on Trump for dodging the draft.

I go, "uh I mean kinda based, I wouldn't want to go to Vietnam either"

He starts telling that actually it's cringe because Trump once said he'd run in a school during a shooting to save kids, but heh that old orange man has bone spurs right?

And I'm like "well stopping a school shooter and going to Vietnam during the war are kinda different things entirely"

I was so confused on what I was supposed to be laughing or annoyed about, the fact he was smart enough to get out of going to a hyper violent warzone or that he got emotional on twitter and said he'd save the day after a shooting. My friend then started saying how he'd have definitely just gone to war no questions asked unlike Drumpf. I remember being so baffled lmao. Here was my big, long time, anti war friend now telling me that he would join one of most brutal American wars without any objections just to say he was better than Orange Man.

Also that last tweet, why is the Trump hate specifically always so childish? I feel like it's with him specifically that everyone seems to break down into "HE'S A MEAN FUCKING ORANGE WITH A SMALL DICK AND SMALL HANDS!" even with other righties they tend toward fake scholarly speak to make out like they are the smug smart ones, but Donny walks in and it's like Chris Chan seeing blue arms.

I guess that's why Greta got popular. They could really related to a retarded brainwashed girl who couldn't control her emotions lmao.

The big thing is that DOGE didn't cut any funding. They only gave reports on spending, aka advice. If they want to sue a guy because he was the head of a committee that gave advice to congress on spending, that's not going to work out real well since they had zero actual power to do anything.
