Isn’t trying to sue random KF users why the Greer case is stuck in hell forever?

The request is for *all* email addresses the users have had attached to the account in the last three years, right? If they were to change the attached email today, would the new address also be included? And, if they were to, say, change their email a bunch of times in a row, would all of those addresses get included in the request? Because if so, there's some funny shit they could do.
I'm pretty sure KF doesn't retain that information, so only the most recent e-mail address would go through. I may be wrong. I often am.

To add on, with the disclaimer that I may be incorrect as well, IP addresses are only retained for up to a month or so...

Isn't that what happened with Vic Mignogna?
When you step back from it, the Vic case was dead from the start, and is one of the most unethical things Baldo has done. I believe Vic never committed Sexual Assault, and I think there was a conspiracy against him. The problem is that he couldn't prove it, and just wanted his life back. This allowed him to be conned into representation by a lawyer without any experience in defamation law who made critical procedural errors. Like commiting notary fraud.

Nick enabled and encouraged a suit through which he funneled 300k worth of donations to a family friend. Donations which he could have used to get his life back on track, and hire a PR firm to out last "Me Too" which died a year later. Then they both washed their hands of Vic after doing a subpar job representing him, and profiting off of the publicity.

Null and his lawyers should have put up more of a stink about the extra 12 days. We all know dong gone Fong wouldn't extend the same courtesy to Null.
LFJ is a foreign resident and could easily request and win for a longer serving time than what he stipulated to waive time for.

The 100 days, regardless of his waiving of service, exists to dox as many people as possible. The DMCA, being the worst law ever written, has a way to engage in one-sided discovery even without filing litigation; he could have done this at any point. He knows we're going to win on copyright so his plan is just to try and subpoena as much user information as he can because he intends to sue everyone or at least get them fired. He could have done this at any time but has decided now is when he wants to kick the hornet's nest.

There's not much I can do about it. This is obviously an abuse of process to attack people for constitutionally protected speech. We'll look over our arguments to try and squash subpoenas but today I'll make a longer post about this tactic.

There's no playing nice with him. His goal is life ruination for as many people as possible because he can't handle being the subject of ridicule. Unlike most lolcows, he's well-funded because of his job with Honeycomb, and he's trying to naturalize in Australia because he resents America, Americans, and our Constitution. He's literally whined about free speech getting in the way of him shutting down the Kiwi Farms.

Does xenforo, as you've currently configured it, retain e-mail address change history?
Yes, XenForo maintains a changelog and IP log to assist in moderation, with limited retention time, because without it the site would be a revolving door prone to abuse. So, if you, say, made fun of the litigious sexpest tranny with a non-anonymous email address without using a VPN and then immediately changed your email address and switched to Tor after a subpoena came in, that doesn't work, because I have to preserve records as soon as I am made aware of a subpoena and litigation.

I remind everyone that this is our registration page and it has been similar to this for over a decade:

It wasn't, though. Without colossal blunders by Ty Beard it should have at least gotten past SLAPP. Falsely accusing someone of rape is about the most clear-cut defamation per se you can get.

Heh. I have a very lewd cock.li email that would be hilarious if read out loud in court

Good thing I'm always using a VPN of some sort, I suppose...

KF is literally one of those "don't use a real email address also we don't keep logs" sites, isn't it? What does this brick-faced moron think he's going to get even if Null complies? "Okay, username blah email faggot@cock.li, no other records available, toodles!"
I am pretty sure the site keeps logs for at least a month, for operational purposes if anything.

And although people don't use their own email, if you used an email provider who does keep logs, there is no doubt said provider would cooperate.

It's optimistic to think there is nothing to get out of it.

Standing by for that longer post, Dear Feeder.

For clarity's sake: I'm assuming the retention applies even if it's a "Notice of Request to Issue Subpoena" that's issued and not the actual subpoena? The notice of request was filed in an active lawsuit, so I'm assuming you're obliged to retain records regardless.

FTFY, sir.

Frankly, if he wants a war, though? Give him a war. At this point I'd be making sure everything he hates gets read into the record. Afroman had the right idea.

Oh my god, imagine Fong-Jones on the stand, being forced to elaborate on what exactly a "consent accident" is, and making him walk through step-by-step how creepily persistent he has been and how many steps he's taken to harass Null and his U.S-legal site. It would make Lick 'Em Low Lisa look like warm up.

Rumble entered a case to quash subpoenas just the other day with another vexatious litigant, David "Acerthorn" Stebbins (who stabbed his own father, by the way, because the Internet speed wasn't fast enough), because they felt that they were obviously bullshit whose only real purpose was to attack its users with illegitimate use of copyright laws to stifle free expression. Websites can choose to stick up for their users when they have not done anything wrong.
