The gambit essentially boils down to "borrow money and try to make a higher % than the interest % you have to pay back", and by the metrics that the public has access to, it's reasonable to assume that Jer will not be able to make a higher %.

I wrote a basic outline for one way in which he might be trying to do this, and a way in which he would have had a high likelihood of being profitable a while back. It's really hard to reason about his situation because the vast majority of things he says are lies, but the main factor at play here is that his main channel's viewership is down. He can't effectively lie about that because YT publishes those numbers, not him.

Things he has said which would have positive financial impact

• Claims his views are high (but extremely likely due to shorts, so this technically might not be a lie, but we can conclude the revenue would be significantly lower compared to when his actual videos were widely-viewed
• He does seem to get new sponsors on occasion, unknown value

Things he has said which would have negative financial impact

• Rumble sponsorship is ending
• UM is not monetized
• Claims he does not invest in securities due to emotional impact (lmao)
  • This is possibly not true, as I believe he has claimed to own TSLA stock in the past, as well as some form of crypto
  • It's one of those situations that he's commented on, untruthfully, so many times, it's probably unreasonable to form a confident conclusion

There is also the possibility he's making money outside of YT/rumble/etc as he owns a web of shell corporations (headed by Marketing Sheriff). My best guess is that it is most likely the case that these businesses don't make very much money, considering Marketing Sheriff only uses Jer's other LLCs to serve as examples of the kinds of businesses that Marketing Sheriff provides services for that we can infer are not doing well themselves, but I don't know how to confirm this.
