Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

With these refineries getting blown to bits, oil shortages are guaranteed to last at least a year. I wonder if crude prices could hit $200 with a fifth of global oil being removed from the market medium to long term

No. Shortages, at least in the US, are impossible. And a good amount of Saudi oil (about 40% of what is available) is now moving out of the Port of Yanbu on the Red Sea, and then through the Suez Canal. Look on MarineTraffic.com and you will see a ton of ships going through the Suez and then around the Cape of Good Hope (though many are ignoring the Houtis and going by Yemen). Right now what we have is a supply chain problem, the world supply of oil was not low before the war.

Fill up your tanks boys, these prices are just getting started

I'm not (thankfully) dependent on my car, I can easily ride a bike to work if necessary. But the cost at the pumps is already up like 0.3EUR where I live.

But who really gives a fuck what that does to costs at the pump for the consumers, it's the fact that EVERYTHING will be more expensive. Looking forward to another 10% increase in food prices while my salary stays the same. If I even have a salary, because our company is not really making a million every quarter, and now that everything is going to be more expensive regarding raw materials and logistics...

Both Bibi and the Ayatollah are alive. Here's proof:

One thing I've noticed is that AI videos usually have a weird, slight, "blink-and-you'll-miss-it" reverb to their voices. And you'll often never see the minute details that an actual camera would capture. AI has been wild recently because I see a lot of social media posts that are obviously artistically AI-Esque from ChatGPT or Grok. In this case, though, it seems a lot of the bandwagon are of leftist, Islamic-loving, types that even mentioning "dead" and "Bibi" in the same sentence is enough to get them on euphoria as if they were taking drugs or something. I doubt that if Bibi were to actually die, then the Israeli government would confirm it. If the Iranians confirmed their supreme leader died, what makes Israel any different if that were to be the case? Just a thought.

Except the "elected" Iranian President. Who has been having a meltdown for 2 days due to how unimportant and ignored he feels. Nobody is consulting him. Nobody is bombing him. He's discovered he's completely inconsequential. At this point I assume the Israelis are holding off on drone striking his ass just on pure lulz value he provides. "Today we bombed flat another top Iranian Leader. The Minister of Sewage and Cesspools! Next target is the head of the Iranian Bureau of Statistical Analysis"
Or the Iranian Minister of Silly Walks?

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud:
It's important for the Iranians to understand that the Kingdom, but also its partners who have been attacked and beyond, have very significant capacities and capabilities that they could bring to bear should they choose to do so.

The patience that is being exhibited is not unlimited.

Do they have a day, two days, a week? I'm not going to telegraph that.

I would hope that they understand the message of the meeting today and recalculate quickly and stop attacking their neighbors. But I am doubtful that they have that wisdom.
Saudi FM: "Check yourselves before you wreck yourselves, retards."

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on Iran and its proxies:
I don't know how they claim to be fighting for Islamic causes while attacking Islamic countries.

Even before this war, what was Iran's contribution to the issues related to the Islamic world? They support the Houthi militia in Yemen. They supported the popular militia in Iraq, who were—and now they are attacking Iraq. They are attacking Iraqi territories.

Hezbollah in Lebanon, which didn't suffice by hijacking the political decision in Lebanon but rather was an effective arm to perform sabotaging actions in the region and in Saudi Arabia.

And the biggest example is Iran and Hezbollah's role in Syria. Where is the so-called support in the Muslim world when they commit such crimes, supporting the former Syrian regime? How do they support the Islamic world when they assassinate politicians in Lebanon? How do they support the Muslim world's issues and causes when they empower the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq hindering the development efforts in Iraq?

I can't see how they support the Islamic causes. I believe these are simple slogans, which they hide behind.

And these tools, they work to serve the Iranian interests rather than the slogans they claim.

The Minister of Interior of Kuwait announced that it arrested 10 members of Hezbollah in its soil for planning terror attacks against the Emirate and spying for Iran
Statement (13) from the Ministry of Interior

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers"
(Truthful is Allah, the Almighty)

In another preemptive strike, embodied by targeting sleeper cells seeking to undermine the security of the country.....

The Ministry of Interior announces that the State Security Agency has successfully thwarted a plot for a terrorist operation targeting (vital facilities) in the country, following intensive surveillance and security investigations. Ten (10) citizens belonging to a terrorist group affiliated with the banned terrorist organization Hezbollah were apprehended; they had engaged in prior planning and coordination with external entities, and sought to spy on their behalf with the aim of providing them with coordinates of the targeted sites, constituting a direct threat to the country's security.

It added that investigations revealed the cell's members had received external training in camps affiliated with the terrorist organization Hezbollah, including the use of weapons and handling of drones, as part of preparations to execute those sabotage operations aimed at undermining the state's sovereignty, shaking its stability, and spreading fear and terror in society. The accused have provided detailed confessions regarding this.

The Ministry emphasized that it will deal with the utmost firmness against any individual proven to be involved in jeopardizing our national security or collaborating with such terrorist groups, and it will not hesitate to deliver painful blows to any threat. The security of the State of Kuwait and its sovereignty are safeguarded, and the security forces are steadfast in pursuing and exposing everyone behind these terrorist plots, taking the utmost legal penalties and measures without leniency or exception.

May Allah protect Kuwait, its Amir, and its people from all harm.

Refineries turn oil into refined product. Most developed countries do not buy refined product, they buy (crude) oil as they have their own refining industry.

Footage shows interceptors being launched over central Israel. A single Iranian ballistic missile was launched and successfully intercepted.

Joe Kent didn't resign because of Iran, he resigned because he was under investigation or leaking classified info.

Really, only Asians are getting fucked by the lack of Hormuz oil

Isn’t Japan super autistic about energy source diversification? Like they mandate that only a certain percentage of energy can come from one source because they never psychologically recovered from the American oil embargo ‘forcing their hand’. Those nips will be fine.

Japan was even more recently psychologically traumatized by Fukushima and has in the years since become more reliant on fossil fuels again.

God I hate when people decide that "nuclear energy BAD" after there have been incidents that could've been entirely avoidable.

1. Don't let Soviets and Russians handle nuclear energy
2. Don't build a nuclear power plant at an earthquake/tsunami risk zone.

Like how hard is this? You check these two boxes, you are going to be fine.

Do you think you are safe in Germany, if one of France's plants goes kaboom? Exactly, so might as well keep your own. Idiots.

Trump is basically forcing Qatar to side with America/Israel by threatening to destroy the rest of Iran's gas refinery if they fuck with Qatar's industry again.

The true lesson of Chernobyl is that commies are literally too retarded to boil water.

TBF in Japans case criteria 2 would justify them completely denuclearizing their energy production. The country is an earthquake risk zone.

They ARE starting to bring some of their reactors online again, but still more than half of what they had pre fukushima are offline.
