Word on the street (of Paris) is the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have all told Trump that they don't care WHY he decided to throw down with the Iranians now. All they want is for him to break Iran totally at this point so the threat of this won't hang over them ever again.

The pain tolerance of the Gulf States at this point is very high. They are willing to suffer in the short term now if the Iranian State is buck broken in the long term future. I would be willing to bet this pain tolerance would not have been so high had Iran not decided to lob missiles at them.

This is also bad news for the EU if they are hoping for any swift end to the conflict. The Gulf States are really the only partners the USA will listen too about the progress of this war. If they were to start demanding America knock this shit off, America would have to eventually concede or lose its position in the region. The fact that America has not backed off yet is strong indication the Arabs have given the USA the green light behind closed doors.

I am still convinced Israel is the house of the nations. It exists because someone told them it can't.

Israel's early association with Jewish Communists in Europe and North America is the primary reason the country is viewed with extreme suspicion. No, it was that Europe does not expect to be nuked by Iran. Why would they nuke us? We have nukes, many more than they could hope to build. We are far away from them and don't bother them much. Their primary concerns are Israel and Saudi Arabia, their regional rivals. It would be pretty retarded of them to attack Europe of all places, not their strategic adversaries, and invoke the wrath of NATO. It would make no strategic sense whatsoever. I guess they are salty about sanctions? Still not a good incentive to nuke Berlin.

That is not to say Europe is not concerned about Iran's nuclear program, just that Europe had no reason to expect an attack on us from Iran. In any case I dunno why you are arguing this with me when I've made my position clear that I view the Iranian regime as a menace and support the US stopping them from ever building nuclear bombs.
