  • In an interview with the Financial Times, Donald Trump said it would be "very bad for the future of Nato" if allies don't help secure the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for global oil shipping
  • He added that he expects China to help secure the channel, and suggested he could delay his upcoming summit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping if the nation does not agree to assist
Lol Orange man begging for others to help finish the war he started. Why can't the Gerald Ford and it's escort keep the Straight of Hummus open, and why is it cowering behind Oman?

The longer it goes before I see pictuers of the new ayollath alive, the more I believe that he is dead.

that's called realpolitik nigga.
the strait is the problem of europe and asia, not america.

if europoors dont want to lift a finger to defend it thats kind of their problem.

Kind of ironically, Trump is meeting with Xi Jinping in like two weeks so we'll see what happens there
would be completely fucking stupid if china ends up being the one to do something after europe pussied out

It's surprising to see so many people here be so adamantly pro-American/Israeli and confident that they're winning "the war".

Iran has proven itself to be a fairly formidable enemy and are not stupid. They've taken control of the world economy and anyone who thinks America will be just fine and dandy if this keeps going on is delusional. America's economy (as well as many other countries) will be in the gutter and it won't matter much if they have a secure oil supply in the grand scheme of things.

The "total American victory" line of thinking is stupid and they failed to build up a formidable and recognizable resistance to take over Iran. It doesn't seem they're really up against the Iranian regime but rather up against a highly apathetic class of internet connected people who no longer want to get involved in obvious shit shows.

Logically this will leave the worst people to want to take over. The Shah's son is hilariously inept and I saw his social media profile ages ago. He is astroturfed to fuck and has literally no idea what he's doing.

Anyway, there's one word that can be readily used in a conflict like this where the state of being the winner isn't very clear to begin with and perhaps isn't a good thing in the long term: a pyrrhic victory.

Trump is a severe fucking moron and although Iran has definitely taken a hit and the US is technically dominating them they totally failed to "win" and the impacts of this conflict on the global economy are going to be huge and shit.

America was literally team America world police for the past several decades. Regardless of general peace in the world their actions made international shipping, flights and transit extremely secure and reliable - the world is built upon this.

He's fucked the security that existed and it won't be long before passenger flights get hit and this gets even worse for everyone.

If a drone hits a plane and kills 500 people it will not be an event that is localized to the Middle East. It will basically mean commercial aviation is extremely vulnerable. This will impact the world and may even make commercial aviation unviable at the scale it currently exists at.

The US and Israel clearly don't have a game plan for what is happening. Even if it seems like the US is getting decisive victories by air striking the fuck out of Iran's military it has an extreme price that we're all going to end up paying: destabilizing international shipping and commercial aviation entirely.

Anyone clapping for the US in this conflict who isn't aware of what's going to come later down the line is a fucking retard. This will only ever end as a pyrrhic victory.

A group calling itself "The Islamic Movement of the Companions of the Right" appears to claim responsibility for a bombing on a synagogue in Liege, Belgium on Monday. They've also published footage of them attacking what they claim to be Israelis in Greece.

Their logo is extremely similar to that of Iranian militias (specifically Hezbollah), seems like a Europe-wide Iranian network. Furthermore, both the statement and video appear to have first emerged on online networks associated with the Shiite axis of armed groups, I haven't been able to find a unique channel for this organization anywhere or even any account ran by them.

The group published footage of attacks on synagogues in the Netherlands

And last night they returned with a brand new AI-generated logo and footage of a shitty homemade explosive being lit infront of a tower, too in Amsterdam. They refer to it as "the World Trade Center in Amsterdam".

What makes you think America isn't striking Iranian anti ship missiles, drone launchers, and speedboats?

That's why it's a pyrrhic victory. You can blow up shitty military hardware until the cows come home but the worlds shipping and oil supply is totally fucked.

They're not winning anything. This could go on for months longer. There's not really any way to win.

Need a good excuse to divert from the looming private credit crisis. Oh and Epstein seems to have been forgotten...
I don't know about the Epstein distraction theory but it's clear the entire American economy as well as many other countries have been crazy and a correction has been very overdue.

America failed to reign in antitrust powers and has its entire economy underpinned by a very small number of players such as Facebook.

Trump and people like Elon promised huge improvements to the global order as well as the economy and didn't deliver shit. This distracts from his total inability to improve things. And the price for this conflict will be huge on the world economy.

fairly formidable
Your entire post is pretty retarded, but I wanted to point out this particular phrase as the exact sort of thing someone who still takes cable news seriously would write.

Those are three words.
