Back when Zootopia 1 came out the Furries wouldn't shut up about it, and people attending the film in fursuits made the news. This time round it seems it was acknowledged far less enthusiastically. Was the film really a letdown compared to the first, or are the furries too focused on other media franchises instead?i was watching the oscars and when Kpop demon hunters won best animated feature i heard screams of a thousand furfags as zootopia 2 lost.
I don't think it was as much of a sensation as the first one, but based on how much Pawbert love I've seen, it seems have made some of an impact. Everyone I know who saw it seemed to like it. I think the Zootopia porn just never stopped since the first movie. So, the second one just didn't seem as impactful when it hit.Back when Zootopia 1 came out the Furries wouldn't shut up about it, and people attending the film in fursuits made the news. I mean the first one was like ten years ago. I don't and will never participate in "the fandom" at anything but arm's length, but even I can tell shit has changed in that time.Back when Zootopia 1 came out the Furries wouldn't shut up about it, and people attending the film in fursuits made the news. At least it's not far enough in the future to make the abortion comic not canon.Having just watched Zootopia 2 the other night, I can say it's not as good as the first one. It leans too heavily on gags based on the first film, jumps around like a Saturday morning cartoon on crack and every character is an annoying parody of the ones seen last time.
Bojack isn't appealing.
Edit 1 : Fuck, hit send too soon.In conclusion:
Fuck Bo-ssman jack horseman.
I remember back in 2016 i was constantly shitting on furniggas in general. Now i don't care about the hobby and i don't mind those who intrested in anthro animals as a hobby but i still shit on the fandom for obvious reasons. Hey at least i did not end up like that zootopia/furry hater on reddit that i recently saw.I mean the first one was like ten years ago. Zootopia 1 was notable enough, at that time, to even be a mainstream media property that was unquestionably furry, so it was a novelty. After years of nothing but negative portrayals and ultra-niche internet content, it was something to celebrate. Nowadays the notoriety of furries seems to have fallen off quite a bit. Mainstream internet culture has moved on from the "yiff in hell" days. So Zootopia 2 wasn't as much of a surprise to see.
I've met zoomers who are just like, openly furry, and they don't have any idea how massively stigmatized it was just a few years ago. And I kinda hate them for it. I wonder if this is how old school fags from the 60s and 70s feel if they meet young queers who grew up in today's environment of full 24/7 gay propaganda.
The only 3 constants in life are Death,Taxes, and furries complaining about other furries.Furcunts getting upset over the newest generation of furfags about why they are ruining their feti- I mean fandom.
either constantly complain or forcing others to be positive all the time classic furniggas.
To be fair it was a lot more tolerable before all the pronouns and trannies.Wyświetl załącznik 8711845

Small correction here, but after being rejected by that sweetheart the 17 year old daughter executed on her plan to pressure him into sex. Rewatch the episode, she confesses to planning things out well in advance and remaining sober all night while Bojack got hammered. Despite being sloppy drunk he rejects her advances multiple times, until she follows him to his boat demanding sex, at which point just as he surrenders and starts to undress the mom (his former sweetheart) catches them.He reunited with his sweetheart he had a crush on, then tried to Epstein her daughter.
Also, I liked Bojack Horseman to a point, but the episodes got so depressing and dour that it's like "why the fuck am I watching this sad horse guy eulogize his abusive mother for 30 fucking minutes with no cuts?" and then you watch Smiling Friends instead.
You don't hear as much about Blacksad (despite it being, well, actually pretty good) either even though the art style is a bit more stylized, and very very few of its characters have tails either.
Yes, the second film recycled too many plot points like friction in the ZPD which should make no sense, as well as pretty explicit anti-White racism. Was the film really a letdown compared to the first, or are the furries too focused on other media franchises instead?
Pawbert's fanbase fell off hard when the director let slip that the lynx boy is actually a 30+ year old loser.I don't think it was as much of a sensation as the first one, but based on how much Pawbert love I've seen, it seems have made some of an impact.
Speaking of zootopia has anyone seen GOAT.
I still lol at Tank Vixens because I could immediately tell what would happen to the creator despite it being a comic from the 90's.Early furry fandom art had inklings of "adult" aspects by way of things like the Omaha the Cat Dancer comic, which was definitely aimed at mature readers, but also a lot of the contemporary art of the time mimicked what the more mainstream comics were doing as far as what today we'd call "fan service" went. Things like the Tank Vixens comic series, or Havoc Inc and Eureka, which had military or action themes but also did some saucy (but still clean) artwork of their lead female characters for readers. Though given that furry was already a niche in and of itself, the adult side of things very easily overpowered the more PG side of things. Now, everything is just openly and brazenly sexual and it's actually extremely difficult to find an artist or writer who is solely PG-13 or lower.
The problem is most people were unwilling to make a collective effort toward reeling things in. There was one group of furs that tried, The Burned Furs, but they were mocked relentlessly because admittedly they were kind of self-righteous and religious/pious and this was smack in the middle of the upswing toward openly ridiculing religion and its place in American culture. Needless to say The Burned Furs were unsuccessful in changing minds, yet every year that has passed since then has only served to vindicate the things they warned everyone about.
Probably also the fact a lot of the fandom got divided into acab since 2020. Also helps that k-pop demon slayer is just a better movie. Zootopia 2 is good but it lacks a lot of the scriptwriting charm of the original where every plot thread referenced a previous plot thread so often the script creates a symphony of references to itself before the movie is over. Also importantly piracy and Disney Plus mean less asses in theaters. Also most importantly, economy bad mkay.Back when Zootopia 1 came out the Furries wouldn't shut up about it, and people attending the film in fursuits made the news.
