for anyone who doesn't know, OPT is Optional Practical Training, which is given to certain kinds of student visas (primarily F-1) to teach them how to do the job in a real setting before they're sent on their way. we basically just give them the knowledge our current guys have on how to do whatever, which enables other countries to take that knowledge and utilize it.
