Alleged photo of the charred corpse of Hajj Abu Hussein al-Hamidawi, secretary-general of the Kata'ib Hezbollah Iranian militia in Iraq after the airstrike an hour ago on his home, Saudi sources only report that the home belonged to a commander in the PMF (which Kata'ib Hezbollah are a part of). The identity hasn't yet been officially confirmed and photos being spread currently of him when he was alive are actually photos of a commander eliminated by American strikes earlier today.

True. But....

If Jorsh ever needs a literal personal army, he needs to set up some kind of internet relay based out of one of these:

Don't know about anyone else but I'll lend my "right arm of the free world" to wander around Mother BaseNull Base and protect some server racks. Just... no CQC

edit: some spray paint and imagination... just saying

Videos show the aftermath of explosions at Arasat al-Karada area in central Baghdad, capital of Iraq. It looks like a house was targeted by an airstrike, probably an assassination attempt.
Ha, fucking called it when I posted about it a little over an hour ago. I knew we wouldn't blow up a house for no reason.

PMF fighter films the moment American strikes targeted his base earlier today. Poster claims the guy filming was killed in these strikes.

I just think it's weird that it's almost two weeks and people are giving up on the war
Yeah that's the trouble when you start a war nobody asked for, if you don't win immediately with zero cost like Venezuela then people lose enthusiasm real quick.

The only real prospect of success was a spontaneous coup, internal chaos or an uprising after the first strike but that's out of the question so all that's left to be determined is whether this turns into a pointless excursion or a serious quagmire.

We've seen this show before with Operation Rough Rider where Trump and Hegseth talked big, dropped some serious ordinance, blew up some leaders yet failed to open the Red Sea and ultimately slunk away after cutting a deal with the Houthis. So if "air superiority" alone failed to stop a land-based blockade from Yemen then why would we expect it to succeed against a much larger, more heavily armed and less isolated country?

Anyway, the copium in here is thick so I'll be back in 2 weeks

Trump explicitly told the protestors to stay inside once the bombs started dropping. He hasn't stopped dropping bombs, so nobody is making a move until he finishes.

More assassinations tonight in Baghdad.

President Trump released footage of the U.S. strikes on Iran's Kharg Island, which he claims is "one of the most powerful bombing raids in the history of the Middle East."

You know that I can see your postings?

Crazy how the last time you felt obligated enough to post you were swearing that we're dying in Iran.
Yet another one of these "dead accounts except for sucking off Iran" Don't worry though... The Ayatollah's got it😂.
Go back to /pol/
Doubt it. It's too obvious over there nowadays.

was extremely unpopular control of the waters the entire time, bombing the shit out of narco boats, was extremely expensive, and used a huge chunk of our navy, and we still battle narcos there. i think youre cherry picking

Operation Rough Rider
you even said it yourself they 'cut a deal' that deal was actually a fucking ceasefire they broke immediately after we left. so by your own logic we cant leave the middle east to their own devices or trust they wont attack civilian targets.

"air superiority" alone failed
the EU has been escorting ships for a minute, as far as i can tell successfully albeit slow. again, i guess we should go back and finish the job or just call it quits and let them take vital chokepoints.. idk if im reading your contrarianism correctly.

However, most of the evidence of an Iranian opposition is coming in the form of unconvincing videos from people who clearly have a vested interest in selling the idea of an Iranian people just awaiting liberation. A few hundred videos of a guy filming a bombing and saying “lol” are meaningless in a country of 100 million people.
Not a bad take. Extremely difficult to determine if this actually has the potential for literally the most successful military campaign of all time. I'm slanted towards it being overly optimistic that we get regime change. But the fact that is even a discussed outcome is bananas. There is actual potential that it happens, and its wild.

I suspect we get a cucked complacent version of current regime at the end personally. Trump isn't putting 100k+ invasion force in there.

But the optimistism isn't unfounded. Merely confirmation that the US Marines have made landing is likely to provoke revolt. If Americans are willing to spill blood along with you, you'll risk it.
