Watching the Helldivers 2 drama really solidified my thoughts regarding these popular shilled piece of shit games always mentioned by almost everyone as "recommended" or "its so good that I don't recommend it" type of shit.

Its always the same shit. Warframe, Darktide, FFXIV, War Thunder, PEAK (and every single friendslop of the month), Helldivers 2, Dead by Daylight, Deadlock and whatever flavor of the year live-service slop that people constantly dicksuck. The average player of these games is some faggy redditor or social media addict who are some variation of homo or dyke and is into shit like Hazbin Hotel, Murder Drones, Homestuck, ProjectMoon or whatever deranged niggershit they consoom. They are either active Twitter/Bluesky users who talk about whatever shit the Orange Man does or they follow r34/coom artists of whatever fetish they're into. When they're not in those circles, they are stupidly active in discord, constantly gargling their mouths with the cocks of the devs and shitting on games/communities that deem as "acceptable" targets, never once having a second conscience as to wonder if any of what they're doing is of useful time.

They're not people, they were once men, but now they are cattle. They cannot be saved. The chuds can try to retvrn those games to chudland or whatever but it will never happen. The players are fags, the devs are bigger fags and they honestly deserve each other till the inevitable End of Service creeps in.

I walked away from HellDivers during the whole PSN login. I haven’t looked back since.

And pretty glad I didn’t get back into HellDivers. The community seems to be full of redditors. Maybe I should download again and talk hella shit on Troons, redditors, and faggots.

No, the reddit community is full of redditors. Going onto reddit and finding redditors should surprise no one. Letting them spoil your enjoyment of something requires first becoming a redditor yourself, meaning you have already failed.

Helldivers II is my favorite PvE game since Deep Rock Galactic.
 
They do push you towards taking the Highway 95 route, but so what? What's wrong with that? Many RPGs have different level zones spread out over the world map and most games would guide you towards exploring them from low level to high, and then allowing you to choose otherwise in a repeat playthrough, that's better game design than having all enemies level with you (Oblivion).
So this is a popular misconception. New Vegas does have level scaling. Its just that death claws and caezadors are difficult at all levels because of their poison or knockdown. And since your build has no similarly powerful tools you can't really fight them (unless your difficulty is set low)

The game does give 2 guaranteed stealth boys early to sneak past the northern barier to new vegas. Also most people probably don't know about the bypass ridge between primm and novac that also lets you skip quite a bit of the intended path.

I can confirm. Otherwise my level 50 Courier would be chewing up most enemies and shitting them out before they even knew what hit them.

They are modern games with modern audiences. What did you expect?
 
Im sure its been said but Tears of the Kingdom sucked balls. Everything about it sucks. The "tutorial" is a direct copy of BOTW but super long and annoying. The NPCs will not shut the fuck up. They took beautiful Hyrule and just LITERALLY threw shit all over it. Kakariko Village looks like trash, Hateno is gay as fuck, Zoras Domain is covered in what looks like actual shit. Everything exists just to move the stupid ass plot. They have yet another ancient super advanced civilization woven from absolutely nothing. The shrines in BOTW each had a different monk at the end and Tears just has the same weird goat guy at the end with his nigger wife.

Weapons are deteriorated and break more easily, you have to glue valuable parts to them to make them worth a shit and the Great Fairys take money and extra shit to level up armor.

The whole game is just a fucking irritating mess. Every single part of it sucks balls so bad and EVERYONE gave me shit for waiting so long to play it and told me, "Tears FIXED Breath of the Wild." It didn't fix shit. It took one of my favorite games of all time and destroyed it.

Tldr I finally got around to playing Tears of the Kingdom and it sucks balls. I hate this game. Oh and I heard a lot of people saying, "ultrahand is better than Magnesis." Bullshit. Magnesia reaches further and when you use it, the metal objects you pick up have infinite mass and make things much more interesting.
 
I don't think that people that sell mods, or pedocord access to hidden links to mods, should be put against a wall is an unpopular opinion.
Maybe here. I usually hear "gotta support the little guy" or "they do mods full time" type arguments.

New Vegas is far, far, far better as a RPG. It's the only game I can think of where you can actually RP and have that rewarded and play out differently. Mass Effect, and other CRPGs I've played only allow 3 characters. Mr Goody Two Shoes, Sir Evil McMoustache, or Captain Scitzo who helps an old lady cross the street before dropkicking a puppy.

Fallout 4 has the same good-evil dichotomy, but has far better gunplay, loot, and art style. The main problem is the standard content doesn't lean into the dungeon crawl and biome elements enough.

Well i would, as a rule, judge the games as they are, not on what mods can make them better, because i don't consider that to be a fair way of reviewing them.
They should both be judged for what the developers intended and gave to the customers, any volunteer work by the customer base doesn't count, because that's not official content.

Imagine if Concord suddenly got a massive mod community that completely changed the game to something good, and then Steam reviews would turn out overwhelmingly positive because of those mods, would that mean that Concord is a great game?

Fallout 4 does have better game play(not a very high bar), but narratively speaking is just worse, they tried to emulate NV a bit with the faction wars, but most of them are poorly conceived(Minutemen, Institute), are completely ridiculous(Railroad), or are contrived to be at a place they realistically shouldn't have the resources for or want to waste the resources for(Brotherhood).

I actually like Fallout 4's settlement system, and if they'd make it like the Sim-Settlements mod did from the get go, then i think the game would've been far more interesting than what we got, because what we got was half baked novelties that are as deep as a puddle, which is what i find to be so sad about F4, it had potential, but none of that was realized since they didn't even try to flesh those features out, just leaving it to their unofficial unpaid interns, the modding community, to fix/add/expand on anything that's broken, unfinished or shallow.

I think bug fixes should get a pass. New Vegas is just really unstable and that’s what drags it down, not actual design/writing like F4.

You wouldn’t rate Doom 0/10 just because the original floppy disk version won’t run on modern systems either.

You don't get that till guns 70. Even then you don't get a good autoshotgun that can handle multiple death claws right away. I only play on very hard/hardcore.

also ranger bitchslap technique you can learn and paralyzing palm exists, poison is a vanilla thing too but you need to melee bitches after you applied the poison, not before...

nope, you can however take about two days of straight playing without crashing instead of one hour with mods though.

I'm not saying it's impossible to obtain knockdown tools I was referring to specifically how deathclaws gate the early game even if they are scaled to your level.

but both deathclaws and cazadores are meant to be a high level enemy that uses the enemy table...
like bethesda learned their lesson on oblivion where people kept mocking them that a random fucking bandit had daedric armor for some reason and they changed the level scaling tables in FO3, which NV takes from, they still have stats meant for a certain level in the same way supermutants and enclave niggers do in FO3 but for writing reasons enclave and super mutants are rare in the desert although the intent remains the same of them being a minimum level X enemy that RPG's do, you don't get to tussle with marksman carbine enemies unless you know where to start a fight either and hoover dam...

same shit as going to washington after you got out of vault 101 when you think about it.

Its an obsidian title. No, it will never be a constantly stable product unless you put in the suite of bugfixes the community has made. If you start slapping in more complicated mods you're going to bring it back but you get free content. Pick your poison.
