This war has been surprising I know that the US risks Bahrain turning into an adversary but I wonder if the map reshuffle within a few weeks. I could see the UAE, Qatar, the house of saud probably turn more anti iran if they keep launching drone attacks at them. So far it seems like both sides stockpiles have drawn down as there arent as many drones or missiles being launched as compared to 5 days ago.
our allies are actually pretty upset at us for withdrawing air defense to Israel. i could see them forgiving Iran for striking their country in the future, considering they're neighbors. i don't see them forgiving us, considering we did nothing to help defend them despite our promises to. they were told these US bases on their soil meant protection.
Iran still has entire regions of missile launchers that haven't even been fired up yet. they've been sending less missiles than the past week because they're running out of valuable targets to hit.
I would call it involuntary downsizing, but yeah, America as the global hegemon is just plain over. No one can trust a government that attacks during negotiations, especially when everyone knows it plays favorites. At this point, it'd be smarter to arrest Witkoff and Kushner whenever they visit other countries as hostages instead of pretending they're diplomats.

I want to clarify one thing, I don't care about the price of oil or the economics that is currently going on, IMO compared to the price of letting Iran exist this is nothing.
I think half the reason America hasn't bothered to kill this guy yet is to prove to the world how useless he is.
The public was so willing to try that it took killing 40K of them to just settle them down for a few weeks, and they were already beginning to pop off again in random incidents before the war started. Trump and the Shah have warned them repeatedly not to take to the streets until the all-clear is given. If it's given, and the populace is either too pussy to do anything or somehow lose (which would be near-impossible with IAF/USAF giving them air cover), then we'll likely just consider the mission done and go home.
Nice to hear that the Abrahamic religions agree on something other than their propensity to molest children. Now it would be great if all the believers return to the desert where it all began to fight it out among themselves without the rest of the world.
Judaism itself is rebranded Zoroastrianism with some laws changed up.
The only major things that got cut out was the obsession with fire and the sky but even then, the burning bush and God being described as rather bright and fiery matches up with Zoroastrian beliefs. It's more realistic to say that Judaism is Zoroastrianism but the original God is replaced with a Canaanite God of war (Yahweh) which then resulted in variations of polytheistic Judaism to form as the influence of the Canaanites grew over time thus angering those loyal to Yahweh and sparking the creation of the Old Testament so they could bitch about the polytheistic people and blame them for every time they got conquered.

Then if both Iran and Israel returned to their Zoroastrian roots, it would fix many problems for the rest of the world, I think.
