Warning to normal people: this is fairly tinfoil hat territory. For anyone looking to go full Daddy Trump, what I'm describing isn't the work of any sort of Holmes or Moriarty. This is just normal 2-D chess, and not even particularly advanced 2-D chess, it like a couple notches over checkers and has involved a fair bit of luck - but looks like that was planned for by having the steps be discreet and disparate. If anything had not worked out, there was sufficient operational planning flexibility to figure another way around to have the same effect.

So lets rewind to 2024, Tump has just won the election. Israel, knowing they will have someone who won't cuck to #freepalestine trannies and browns, allows Turkey to have their puppet A.J. win the Syrian civil war. The war had not been going in Assad's favor, lets be infinitely clear on that, but between inertia and revel infighting, an indefinite holding pattern was likely. Part of that is because the US-backed SDF were just to secure oilfields and curbstomp ISIS. The Saudi Al Queda/ISIS alliance would not be allowed to win, and Israel intended to make sure no one they didn't like triumphed via their support for the Druze.
You might have had a hilarious situation where the IDF would have been helping Assad had Turkey forced the issue without Israel's blessing.
But now Israel reverses course almsot as soon as trump wins the US election, give Turkey the nod to give AJ the green light, and in less than two weeks Assad is on a plane to Moscow.

This has has more ripple effects than people realize. A.J. blames Iran for the civil war, and forces out all IRGC members and all Iran-alligned organziations, chiefly Hezbollah. Hezbollah loses not only a (mostly) safe haven but also their safe main port for supply from Iran as well as access to funding via drug trade.
They aren't wholly cut off, they can still use Lebanon, but they don't wholesale control the government and have to pay off people to get Iranian weapons through the port and they can't come openly and in great number like in Syria.
This also removes a base for Iranian intelligence to get clues about what The Eternal Jew is up to, as Lebanon restricts IRGC activity in its borders.

Over the spring, Trump tells Zelensky "we are not giving you any more patriots or missiles for them, you are going to have to purchase them like anyone else". This results in Zelensky putting in a MASSIVE order of 25 Patriot batteries - that is 25 base units and 16 launchers, plus a fuck ton of ammo - worth $162 billion over the summer, with full delivery to take 10 years. But this means that Raytheon production on Patriot Systems and PAC-3 intereceptors is already being spun up with views to add new lines.

It is a limited engagement to see what Iran is capable of on response, to decapitate the IRGC, and demonstrates to the Iranian people that the regime isn't untouchable anymore.
It also proves Israeli airstrikes can transit Syria and Iraq, and that Iraq in response to IDF incursion will power down its air defense radars to remove even the possibility of Israel bombing them. The goverment might be unable to do anything against Iran due to the number of armed & iranian controlled Shiites in the south & east, but they also don't need to throw in with Iran when it comes to getting raped by Zionist Entity.
Next you have the US raping the Houthis. This is the US testing out carrier deployment. They give Iran a big valuable target, a proxy to shoot at that target, and see what Iranian weapons can do (answer: not much). It also is a sign to the Iranian population: The US is looking this way again.

In August, the US brokers an Azeri-Amenian treaty ending a 30 year conflict between the nations. This puts Azerbaijan squarely into the Turkish sphere of influence and a definitive demonstration that Armenia is now switching patrons from Russia to the US.
Azerbaijan has for at odds with Iran for a while, to the point Iran backed majority-christian Armenia, but now Iran's north is in NATO hands, even if half of that territory is less-than-reliable Turkey's suzerain. This also cuts the western land routes between Iran and Russia.
Well, "cuts" is too strong a word. They are still open and available for legitimate trade, and grey/black market trade still goes on, but now that illicit trade has to through areas where CIA glow niggers operate with the blessings of the government.
It also gives NATO/US a port on the Capsian that glow niggers can start watching shipping from.
To keep this thread from overwhelmed by the seething of brown hands, I am goign to keep this short, to to the point, neutral, and solely to facts. I will then put on my tinfoil hat and provide a neutral and what I think should be non-controversial opinion/analysis of how this relates to Iran. There will be no questions.
In late January/Early February, Starlink shutdown all unauthorized Starlink terminals in Ukraine. you had to register with your Ukrainian ID or government authorization to get on a whitelist to be allowed to connect. This has produced anger from Russian troops who have lost internet access that looks like it was coming from Starlink. After Starlink was shutdown in the area, there has been lack of Russian forward momentum along most but not all of the various fronts and a reversal of Russian gains as Ukraine takes advantage of what seems to be Russian command and control at the lines of contact. Russian drones and missiles have also slacked off, as well as glide bombing supporting their forces.

From what others have said and what I've seen, this action was likely driven by the US to provide a distraction for Russia away from the US build up by making them focus on Ukraine and stabilizing the situation/restoring force organization so they can return to being on the offensive.

Lest we think this isn't related to Iran and Israel, Hezbollah and Hamas are tied into the Venezuelan cartels, that is where they got their drugs to sell in the mideast and europe to raise money for killing jews. The US knows that fucking with Iran is going to disrupt global oil supplies. You need a replacement for that oil. Venezuela is that replacement. The US secures Venezuela, has them exit sanctions, and now Iran exiting the oil market causes much less disruption.

The country's infrastructure is rotten from neglect, but what is left is effectively captured completely intact. Iran can now be fucked with.
Which brings us to recent history.
Clearly the big Iranian protests at the end of December kicked off organicly because the neither the US or Israel was ready for this shit, especially the US, and the US especially scrambles for about two months to get forces redeployed and in position.
So what you have now is Gulf States ready for war with Iran; The Gulf State governments have not done the usual feckless Muslim thing of turning traitor the minute they have anything bad happen to them because they were briefed and prepped. Bahrain was clearly ready for Shiite chimping. Saudis had their mercenaries already hired and deployed. Even Iran had to know what was coming. Anyone paying a moderate bit of attention knew this was coming.
So what you are seeing unfold now is over a year of prep and planning - and even then, it kicked off before the US was ready for it to.

And I want to point out, I don't think the end goal is Iran. I think the end goal is constraining China. It is getting Europe to stop being a massive vulnerability and at least able to stand on their own and maybe be able to aid the US, and removing any geopolitical distractions so the US can be laser focused on being ready to dump on china.(which is why Cuba is probably next) And if we can improve our strategic posture, all the bettter.
