I think it's the lack of any real passion or interest in what he's doing that you're noticing on some levels. Even bad entertainers have at least some interest in what they do, or can fake it until they make it. There's at least some level of earnestness in what they do, or at least they had a spark of that at some point if they're giving up. Jer never fucking had that. To him, it only mattered that he could get money off of it; that's all he ever cared about, and when his stupid card channel got destroyed because he was a drunken asshole to the entire community, he cynically moved on.

Jer never had to try all that hard, made easier in the sense that his one thing he kind of tries on in life (besides inventing scams to trick his audience of marks) is trying to be the first on news and run it into the ground. He got lucky in that he'll flood the site with five or six videos that cover a lot of breaking news repeatedly. He can put in a grindset, similar to DSP in that regard.

The problem is he never worked on his presentation and he lacks any passion in anything but burning his money on shit to consoom. The closest he ever had to a passion project was RC cars, and he still can't be bothered to do videos on them because money-brain is stronger than passion for him.

Fffmpeg is a tool you can download.
c:v is the codec for video, here I used SVT's implimentation of AV1.
b:v is bitrate of video
c:a is codec for audio. OPUS pairs well with AV1.

That's what I use for most of my archives.
Sometimes I increase bitrate to 2M if there is a lot going on in scene, other times I reduce it to 500K, if there is very little movement.
