Now, you didn’t exactly contradict yourself there or say anything you need to retract now, you just said that his smug face made you violent. That can be true even now! It’s just that with how things stand now, looking smug while saying “these lying whores lie” seems extremely justifiable…

Again, I doubt anyone will point to anything specific that you’re going to feel you need to retract or for which you need to apologize. Doing the interview in a non-hostile manner made sense.
