Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.
I wish, EU officials are cuckolds in suits, if there was any time for Strategic Autonomy it was a few years ago. Maybe Macron can finally fulfil his Jupiterian fantasies.
Its just zigger cope again. the US gas europe mostly buys nowadays isnt shipped via the straight of hormuz and global price hikes just means europe is going to outbid other interested parties. this fucks poor brown countries
The US does not have the capacity to ship enough LNG to meet the European demand. The main issue is that a number of countries have to import gas from Germany instead of receiving it from Russia. Even if the EU imported no LNG from the ME, it still imports oil, which has to be replaced by other energy sources now. I can not stress enough how strained the energy situation has already been in Europe before. Germany was hemorraging industries due to ultra high energy prices, before the Strait was closed.
Im a proud iranian goyim. Im just a good non jew who wants some yummy khazari milk jugs! BEING A GOY IS NOT AN INSULT AND I WILL MARRY A JEWESS WHO WILL CALL ME A GOOD GOY!
Basically all of the world's largest oil and LNG distribution has stopped. That's going to have a bigger impact on normal people far away from the conflict zone and take a lot of time and effort to stabilize again.
According to the goal statement put out by the Whitehouse the goal is to cripple them militarily and destroy all of there missle capabilities and Navy. Thats the end goal well at least according to the Whitehouse, it does not specifically mention regime change. But if a regime change does happen Im sure it would speed up the process.
Iran is now starting to conduct government press briefings out of classrooms. They don't use schoolkids as human shields though remember Wyświetl załącznik 8646868
US Israeli strikes targeting Tehran, Iran once again.
More shipping companies are stopping services in the Gulf.
US-Israeli airstrikes have destroyed a radar installation on Iran's Kish Island in the Persian Gulf.
Oil exports from Iraq's Kurdistan region have been halted.
The Israeli military says the Air Force has carried out airstrikes on dozens of missile launchers, defense systems, and additional live fire arrays utilized by Iranian forces.
CENTCOM released footage of U.S. strikes on Iranian ballistic missile launchers.
Saudi Armaco is looking into making a pipeline to the Red Sea to avoid the Hormuz.
the riots in Bahrain are pro-Iran their native population is Shia majority (specifying native population because the country also has a massive population of foreign citizens that when factored in remove that majority status) and they are not happy we've killed their pedophile pope and that their government is acting against Iran.
Looks like India doesn't have much in terms of oil reserves either - so if this conflict really goes all out a country with 1.5 billion jeets could become completely immobilized. Wyświetl załącznik 8646771
That wouldn't help. The issue is production and transport capacity for energy resources. The US can not meet the European demand for energy. Physically impossible, Russia can probably reactivate the one Nordstream pipeline that is still intact.
Nat. Gas not Gasoline but on the plus side Winter is over so it will not be an issue right nTw.
but if this goes on Z-manlet will need to make peace with putin or lose all aid from europe.
The US can maybe produce enough gas, but there isnt enough LNG infrastruture in to supply europe alone
Nah it's gonne be fine. There are still tons of coal plants just sitting idle by and could be used. But aren't because burning coal is emitting CO2 and thus is expensive in Europe. That is merely a regulation that can be paused during an emergency.
Furthermore with the expansion of wind & solar (Solar providing 150 TWh alone annualy) it removes pressure. With batteries going to provide close to 10 TWh of balancing this year alone, it also becomes a more baseload form of power supply. The electricity will flow. The summer is approaching and Europe has another year to prepare for the next winter where it can build up it's storage.
Will be a challenge, but won't be as bad as in 2022. Relax.
