I really like Ashley but I don't know how long she has on this earth at this size.

I guess Olivier thinks that the people who helped Arya Permana shed his weight that was making his daily life difficult are worse than Hitler and just committed genocide against all people who are over a size 1.
He's kidna right. Fatness isn't a disease. It's just the cause of so many diseases. I mean if you have a disease which goes away when you lose weight then fatness was the cause, not the actual disease itself.

Like it or not, obesity is actually classified as a disease by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Obesity is classified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a chronic, relapsing disease arising from complex interactions between genetics, neurobiology, eating behaviours, access to healthy diet, market forces, and the broader environment.

Of course people eat themselves into it, and many manage to eat and exercise their way out of it. Others never can for whatever reason they got that way in the first place. Then there is the few that lose the excess weight, but the damage is already done and it’s too late to reverse.

Obesity yes. Fatness no. And there's actually papers out there that say being mildly overweight might actually be good for you. It's still a hotly contested thing but there is solid evidence that it might have some benefits.

But we're talking a BMI of 27 here, not people like in this thread that are morbidly obese.

More evidence that Olivier may either be a cupcake lover, enabler of cupcake lovers, or both. I'm sorry if I'm posting about him too much, but his blog is just a goldmine of fat activism insanity. If there is more beyond his Tumblr blog and his fat fetish art, he may get his own thread in the Farms.

(says the one who said that "all skinny people should die" and tried to hide it as "uhm, akshually, this was just a vent and reaction towards le heckin' systemic oppreshun".)

I bet he doesn't mind kids getting groomed Grandma Stuffum-style through Discord or other online fetish spaces.

Yeah. Other good things include easier access to healthcare, therapy, walkable spaces and healthy food.

Took over an hour on this shitpost I made.

2026 DEER REWORK - Visual and Gameplay Update
MASSIVE BUFFS - Movement speed increased from 80 to 400;
Massive increases on statistics, mainly on dexterity, attack, defense and strength;
No more risk of having a heart attack or dying from high blood pressure while using abilities;
Now able to run, swim and fit through normal structures;
Higher chance of attracting mates;
Better and smoother controls;
Much more likeable personality

NERFS - No more chance of attracting feeders;
Less chances of crushing opponents to death with weight alone

NEW PASSIVE - Aura Farming: Deer farms aura just by existing, which makes nearby opponents feel Intimidated. When Deer uses his abilities, it decreases the target's movement speed, defense and damage.

I almost forgot to say, but when it comes to the new kit, the passive is 3 times stronger on nonces. Nevermind the buff that makes him hate pedophiles and the nerf that removes the ability to protect nearby Discord groomers. He has gone from one of the most hated and least played characters to one of the most popular and picked ones recently, even though his popularity within feeders went downhill.

That is very slow for what I imagine to be an entirely flat, paved course.

I walked home from work yesterday, a little over five miles (8km). It took about 1h40. Yes, I am attempting to one-up a bunch of 400 lb women.

People who leisurely walk 5ks, sometimes with strollers or little kids, usually clock in around 1 hour.

I once did a 5k in just over 2 hours.

Granted, it was a walk for the humane society, with dogs. And we had to circle every tree, bush, curb and leaf on the ground, and sniff every other dog’s butt. So we probably actually walked 8 km, but did a lot of standing still.

This has been accepted fact for decades.

What rarely gets mentioned is what type of fat is helpful vs. harmful. Curves, hips, thighs etc. is all good. But having excess weight on your trunk / abdomen has an increased risk of correlating cardiac disease.

And if you have comorbidities (like hyperlipidemia, hypertension, etc. then the excess weight is going to worsen those conditions.

But note in all of these we're talking "slightly" overweight. Like maybe 20 - 25 pounds heavier.
Was it Socrates who said something like ‘those who are a little fat about the belly do best in all kinds of illness’ ? In his time being well fed would mean more resources to fight illness.
They are likely picking up a proxy measure at time of death, especially in the elderly. It will be skewing the data by using that cohort of very thin about to die people in it. Rather like how the ex alcoholics skew the booze data
Being frail is very bad for you, and muscle is key to metabolic health throughout life but especially when you’re older. Very thin older women for example - fat is metabolically active too and is involved in oestrogen metabolism. …and lower oestrogen equals thinner bones. You snap a femur as a frail 80yo and that might be goodnight. Have a fall as an 80 yo who does Pilates and swims and you’ll likely just bruise
Most elderly with chronic illness waste away as well (in this country anyway…)
Excess fat is inflammatory, a bit of a chunky arse or thigh on top of muscle is fine, but visceral fat is bad news. As is being obese
Of course this will be taken as carte blanche to be 300lb, but it really means to not panic if your BMI is around that normal/overweight boundary and you are otherwise fit and strong.

posted in the wrong thread but i saw this and immediately went to share it. being so fat you can't get drafted is a good thing!
IMG_5135.jpeg
Now seems like a pertinent time to remind everyone that supporting the USA or the actions of its leader is white supremacist behavior. It is your duty as a moral person to loudly condemn the American government, and if the time should come for it, dodge the draft. The defense secretary said that most of our generation is too fat to qualify to join the military and with your help we can get it to 100%! Fuck dying for a country that doesn't care about the rights of the vulnerable and fuck fighting a war against the vulnerable citizens of another country.

Unpopular opinion: PSPH are OG fat chicks. Instead of whining about politics or whatever, they live their best lives. They're the kind of cool people you like talking to when they're secretaries at work. They're sexually non-threatening. I have no beef with them, and the 5k simply finished at all is a big lifestyle change. Hell, girl, you eat that 8kcal Mickey sundae at the end of it. You DO deserve a little treat. You're eating it anyway.

Yeah but some still disagree as seen by the downvotes on my post.

It's also down to what kind of fat, brown VS white, intramuscular VS around the organs, as you mentioned where you carry it and so on.

Shia looking like he got arrested for cattle rustling
It's about the only work he's been able to get in a while.

Seriously why was this guy in movies?

Of course it is which is why it's necessary to stipulate where the fat is and what kind it is.

The issue is it's not 100% bad as a lot of people think it is.

Exactly. It’s not good to be underweight either. Nobody healthy should be worrying about a slightly fat bum. Just be healthy as you can and don’t do extremes (although of everyone took that advice this website wouldn’t exist..)

I don't disagree with your general point, but 20 - 25 lbs is not always "'slightly' overweight." The average height for US women is 5'4". (Many of the women in this thread seem to be around this height.) The heaviest a woman at that height can be to remain in the "normal" BMI category is 145 lbs. At 20 - 25 lbs heavier, they are literally right on the borderline of obesity (BMI 28.3 and 29.2 respectively).

And the BMI is a flawed measurement anyway. Get a guy like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his BMI is off the charts. But you can't tell me that he's obese.

Same as this. The 20 - 25 pounds is just an example. For somebody who's short, like 5' nothing yes that could put them over the line. But if they're 5'10" then it might only a 26. Overweight but not obese. The whole point is being a little fat can actually be good.

I dunno, a bit of fat seems to already be worked into the rather ample range of normal BMI.

Will neither confirm nor deny that when a certain Diet Coke swilling retard joined the military, said retard might've been at the lower end of 'normal'. Upon retirement, the same retard was on the higher end of 'normal.' That was a HUGE swing in weight - over 30 lbs. And plenty of it was flubber, which said retard spent the last couple years burning away.

Normal BMI at the upper end actually does account for a goodly bit of body fat, honestly. There shouldn't be a need to leave normal and go dancing off into 'overweight' for 'health benefits.'

Sure, BMI isn't always going to be a good indicator, as the example of The Rock proves - muscle mass far above and beyond normally expected lean muscle mass for the age of the individual does throw the measurements off considerably, hence why body fat measurements are utilized by places such as the military and military medicine to determine whether or not a service member is muscled and therefore out of tolerances or a fucking fatass that needs to get on the Fat Boy Program. But such individuals are NOT the norm, and thereby don't constitute disregarding the entire BMI system. (Plus those individuals are typically at risk for early cardiovascular collapse and failure - see all the young dead body builders.) Like others have stated, some fat is healthy, distribution matters, but having an excess of adipose tissue does affect hormone levels throughout the body due to being active and affects overall health.

They aren't as entitled as some obese personalities can be. They're just like "ok here's what we did, here's who fit into this, here's who didn't" and they aren't inconveniencing people purposefully with the idea that everyone should cater to them. Of course it grosses me out when they eat a ton of food, or make bad choices. But I can appreciate that they share information for other fat people and are willing to ask the questions and find answers without making it a victimhood thing.

Conditioning this grooming that mind you that Indomie has a whole program dedicated to getting Nigerian kids addicted to instant deep fried noodles, including yearly school events, a fanclub, and a cartoon about superheroes that convinces you indomie is very healthy for sure please believe us.
fanclub-p-1-2_use.png

Not to mention the hold the coca cola company has on Mexico. Or that mcds spent years advertising to exclusively children. Letting your kids just eat whatever isnt an option when big corpo is going out of their way to brainwash them into eating and desiring unhealthy slop.

Obeastity (sic) not only kills them, but clogs up our health care system. Not to mention, it suucks sitting next to a fatty on the plane with their side gut just oozing over the arm rests. Forget if you need to go to the bathroom! Unless you feel like climbing a lard filled mount Everest touching a sweat drenched shirt and who knows what else. (Stupid me for wanting a window seat, right?)

Thankfully for long hauls I fly business so I don't need to worry about it anymore. Domestic flights though, ugh.
