Late to the party, but this is why I don't trust the media with any political topic. Every outlet is so fixated on having the scoop, they don't wait around to get all the essential details - and that's before they put their own slant and bias on the story.
Around here, districts want some new millage passed so they can get additional money they can do with what they please. These are also the same districts hiring overpaid six-figure DEI consultants who turn classrooms into Social Justice labs and eliminate AP classes in the name of social equity because they see Harrison Bergeron as a handbook.
At the time, the media was split over Iran's nuke program being bombed to shambles or the bomb having minimal impact whatsoever. This falls back on my prior comment that the media cares not about research and facts but appealing to its political allies who accept whatever it reports without question.
One hopes that the new regime that ultimate rules Iran is not worse than the previous one.

For anyone unaware, "Foreign" when describing a US company or corporation simply means the business entity was formed in one state and subsequently filed paperwork to be recognized as a business entity in another. A company registered in the same state it operates in is labeled "Domestic."
I'm not surprised. As a kid, my parents and I took a summer vacation near the state capital and spent part of an afternoon in the public gallery watching the legislators. It's a catch 22 situation where Congress doesn't want the responsibility/blame/guilty for formally declaring war but knows sometimes you need to send in the troops to fuck someone's shit up. So they made it so the President basically can declare war unofficially without having to go through Congress so Congress doesn't take the blame when shit goes it's up.

It would be hard for it to be worse, but we don't have a great track record of doing regime change wars in that fucking desert and having it not destabilize the entire region and turn out to be anything but a massive headache for everyone involved.
