The only people who are anti-Israel are browns and campus communists. Nearly every isolationist believes that Israel has a right to exist and defend itself, they just don't believe that American lives or dollars should be used to defend it. Not for long. Today one of the remaining leaders of the colectivos (Government paramilitary) was arrested. Elections are nonnegotiable, all the hardcore Chavistas are being arrested, or are hiding. The "Regime is still in power" comes from a lack of understanding of the power politics inside Venezuela. There were 4 major factions inside the country. Maduro (Cuba,Chinese,Ruskie) Padrino (Military) Diosdado(Paramilitary) and the most important of them all the Rodriguez brothers. They are the less politically inclined of the bunch, and care more about the gravy train moving, than of any ideological loyalties. The only leverage Chavismo still has (Paramilitary ) is being disarmed as we speak, to prepare for elections next year if being optimistic.
