Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

Sweet, I knew this was coming...
That reminds me, has Iran raised up its super duper Red Flag of Muh Revenge™ yet like they did last year?

Always fun when the xitter shill brigade react with choreographed awe as if they just summoned fucking Hastur the Unspeakable to destroy their enemies and pretend like Iran has not done this cringe shit a dozen times the past decade whenever they get humiliated
Also according to PlasticPartisanGirl here they have also rolled out the dreaded Black Eye of Revenge logo just to show how serious they are this time!

Trumps logic is instead of killing the regime and leaving boots on the ground for years for an ineffective regime to take over as soon as you leave.

No criticism on my end. I actually find it to be quite hilarious.

Kill the regime and leave, if the new government is bad, kill them again and leave, do this until you get a good one. Way quicker and less costly than occupying forever.

It's more like politely asking the neighbors to turn their music down. If they don't comply, throw live hand grenades through the windows until the music is at an acceptable level. Who runs the shithole thereafter is not a concern unless the music gets too loud again.

What's Turkey's status in all of this, I'll have a connection in Instanbul in a few months and I don't want a repeat of DBX
Turkey is over on the other side of the room with a fake mustache and sunglasses on pretending he doesn't know any of these people and maybe they'll just forget he's there for a week or two.

I don't really care either way since it's not going to really have negative repurcussions ultimately.

Displacement of people, leading to more Arab immigration into mainly white countries.

Ramping up of extremist Muslim rhetoric, leading to an increase in terror attacks in mainly white countries.

This sort of thing doesn’t make these cunts just go ‘oh well, you got us, you win’, it just makes them resort to their other disgusting well known tactics more readily, both now and in the future when the Muslim kids for whom this is a radicalising moment come of age.

I’m not saying it shouldn’t have happened, but negative repercussions for white countries can be many.

Kind of nuts trying to drag the Brittish into this when they explicitly said they were trying to not get involved.
Like what's even the plan here, just get everyone to attack the Iranian regime?
Already got a lot closer with the British soldiers stationed in Bahrain, apparently some where "within several hundred yards of the strike" on a military base

With prediction markets, heads they win, tails you lose:

Of course, this "policy" of not paying out on death is something they just made up:

1772366801317.png1772366805633.png
1772366810590.png

and they even posted a message after Khamenei died implying that the death counts as a valid reason for him leaving office:
1772366820565.png
1772366830712.png
Source (Archive)

and the terms (archive) say that it'll be resolved upon death:

1772366851160.png
Some people are saying they're going to weasel out by saying it wasn't confirmed by the deadline, but the House still loses by that rule.

Trump's tweet (archive) announcing his death was made at 4:37 PM ET on 2/28/26 (9:37 PM UTC, 1:07 AM 3/1/26 IRST, 6:37 AM 3/1/26 JST):

(Archive is in JST as only Megalodon.jp can archive Truth Social)

and our thread (and Israeli media) confirmed his death two hours before Trump did:

Less than an hour later, one of their "Source Agencies", Reuters, confirmed his death:

Fox and NBC also did so around the same time, with NBC speaking directly to Trump.

The only reference to a time zone in the terms is Eastern Time; it'd have to be time of the location of the leader AND the time of Trump's tweet (not the media articles) in order for them to not have to pay out the March bet (and no matter what they should have to pay out the April one):

1772366911841.png

Of course they have weasel language that lets them do whatever they want:

1772366932017.png
While Kalshi technically only makes money through fees, they have a trading subsidiary and sell preferential access to Wall Street firms, Either their internal trading firm or one of their partners had a big loss on this bet, big enough to be worth torching the entire company's reputation and risk being sued to protect.

People are pissed, especially because he's refunding an arbitrary amount and not the cost of the bets:

In summary, never use prediction markets. They're rigged like any other casino game.

Again - there's no reason why Europeans have to accept migrants. You can simply deport them. The fact that you don't is why they come, not because Iran got lit up.

I have no interest in turning this into ‘America vs Europe’ bullshit, but the ongoing issues ICE face, as well as the fairly negligible number of actual deportations, show it’s really not as simple as that.

You forgot economic impacts of rising oil prices, after they hit the oil facilities.

the point is that responsibility for mass immigration lies 100% with the politicians that rule the countries, not with whatever random war or crisis is currently happening on the other side of the world.
if you get mass immigration, it is because the political class that runs your country wants mass immigration. that is the only factor that matters.
if they didn't want it you wouldn't be getting it, and if they do want it you will get it regardless of whether or not some shithole is getting bombed at the moment.

regarding americas ICE situation, the reason why that shit is so slow is the same: because a huge part of the american ruling class WANTS mass immigration.

Yeah im aware of who Ron Paul is. I've always liked Buchanans contention that we should stand equidistant and hands off in the middle east, but that changed a long time ago and now we're in a different world, even since this statement was made.
ok currrent year arguement it sways everyone so much. btw the arguement over who formed Isis, heres a trump video not watching it but title says what the answer is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y43qMPEleuU Obama formed ISIS. I also know somewhere on this hardrive i have a video of Obama admitting we formed (him in the white house) ISIS.

Honestly? i'd do pre bogged Laura

Look, honestly if im down for juden puss. Shes not bad...also that schnozz is cute.
Iran has now reverted to a master war strategy of firing one missle at Israel at a time.
Its just like the computer games! Instead of a small beam they charge it with the holy powers of allah and yeet it towards Israel with a big beautiful green beam! Allahu akbar illaha la allahu.

Just makes me wonder if other countries like Russia use this as excuse to strike direcly against Zelensky.
They tried, many times. On day one of the invasion they tried. They couldn't do it, because they cannot do what the US can do. They could not:

- Locate his exact position and track his movements.
- Bypass his personal security and Ukraine's defences.
- Get the necessary resources in place.
- Have it all lined up and pull the trigger.

America has extremely good intelligence gathering and ability to penetrate enemy defences, and so does its allies. One of the perks of being their buddy. The US likely knew the precise moment and room number when and where Khamenei was taking his morning shit. And they, and their ally Israel, had the means to get through Iranian air defences and drop precision ordinance on him. One attempt is all that was needed to ruin his day permanently. Similar story with the capture of Maduro.

Russia does not have these capabilities. They had vague knowledge that Zelensky was somewhere in Kyiv. They had guesses as to which precise buildings he would likely be in. They did not have the means to pinpoint target such buildings to guarantee a kill with airstrikes. Nor did they have the means to mitigate or overwhelm Ukraine's air defences to ensure a kill.

Instead they went with a more "traditional" plan - they instructed Chechen commandos to infiltrate the city and eliminate him. Instead said commandos were eliminated. It was a tall order to send them into a large capital city on high alert to track down the most heavily guarded man in the country's whereabouts and then successfully assassinate him.

Another attempt was made - this time a PMC group called Redut - 1000 of them tried to fight their way into Kyiv to find and kill Zelensky and other prominent Ukrainian leaders. Almost all of them were killed. Then another attempt was made by Chechens to breach the city - all were killed. Then 400 Wagner PMC were given the job - they also failed.

This was all in February at the start of the war. We know one of these attempts managed to reach the presidential palace, but we do not know if Zelensky was even there at the time. There have been many attempts since, generally attempts to infiltrate Ukrainian institutions with sleeper agents and the like. They're still trying to kill him and still failing.

It's easy to say "just kill the enemy leader", but actually achieving that requires certain capabilities that only the US and perhaps a select few US allies have.
