Said he doesn't like his company (his employer)
Said they were dishonest
Said they aren't going to renew his visa and he needs to find a new job that will
Reminder that before Christmas break he was getting 3 hours a WEEK of work
Chibibros,
Does this mean the "job is a scam" bros win or that he was just too dense to read the fine print?

It's not literally a scam if they hire 5 gaijin and only keep on 2 because they correctly expect the majority of employees will be retarded unkempt weaboo. From Chibi's perspective it might be a scam because he is the retarded chaff his employer expected to need to get rid of. But he gets no work for a reason.

That said I voted for it's a scam in the sense that Chibi thought he would have a full time job and instead is nearly unemployed and going even more broke.

Employers writing "Go home white pigeru" around the margins of his pink slip.

Wouldnt it had been better to take a teaching gig out in the country side? I would assume they would have a demand for such? Sure he may not be near all the weeb shit, but its better than to struggle.

Without a shadow of a doubt, but he never wanted to be a teacher, he wanted to live in a Japanese city and teaching English was the only way it was going to happen because he has no marketable skills and can't speak Japanese.

Chibi probably thinks he's entitled to more work because he bothered to learn japanese at all.
Like many of his decisions, he's getting fucked because he didn't think about it all the way through. Or, scary thought: he did think about it, and went for it anyways because he HAS to be in Japan.

He has to be around the land of his favorite anime, because despite being a fully grown adult, he still has this childish mindset on the country, where Japan is his Mecca. It's ridiculous.
An honest interview with Adam could be so interesting, but he'd never go for it. Did he try living in Japan because he wanted to get away from a country where he is a known lolcow? Did he get scared by the idea of a coworker posting ITT? So scared he wanted to quit his job? It was a decent gig, and quitting was a terrible idea.

That fucking wallet... (@ 1:56 in the second VOD)

If it was the US countryside absolutely. Japanese rural areas are fuckin shit holes though, house with no insulation or central heating level. Also Hokkaido suffers regular bear attacks. Even if that wasn't enough to deter someone of sterner stuff, Chibi is a hopeless weeb who chose to watch anime and cheat at speedrunning, instead of gain strong coping skills. He would never want to leave his holy land of the cities of Japan and would be miserable and sulking the whole time he was in the sticks.

On top of all that the locals up there might just fuckin kill him. I've heard up north is where the remaining yakuza hang out and by extension the ultra national party AKA Restore imperial Japan party.

job is a scam bros keep winning. Chibi’s extended jap vacation in the promised land is coming to an end. You’re not getting a job anywhere with your rudimentary understanding of the language while also looking like you’re a hostile homeless NPC in one of the Yakuza games.

Tbh, he should just do more IRL streams and do retarded shit in public for donations at this point. He has nothing to lose

His point was never to teach English. It was to be in Tokyo. That's it.

The English teaching job is just a larp and excuse to do so.

Why does he sound so faggy?
Search your heart and you will find the answer you know to be true.

Did he not do any research on not just the company, but the industry he was flying across the world to work for?

Yeah. I'm sure there's a bunch of discourse about whether the job was a scam or not in the thread, and I only catch up about once a month. Basically what you said though. I wouldn't consider the job a scam by any means. Is it shady and whatnot? Oh yeah, but it's kind of common knowledge why the employer and employee want out of it.

The employer gets their cheap labor and to minimize potential gaps where they don't have an English teacher since the turnover is insane. Really makes you think if Chibi ever had any thought bubbles pop up and question why turnover is insane. The answer is obviously no, but 30 seconds of research would have done wonders to prepare him for exactly what kind of situation he was getting himself into.

The employee either gets to live out their altruistic fantasy of teaching brown (or yerrow in this case) English, or (and much more typical) gets their foot in the door with visa and employment in Japan. Chibi is clearly the latter, but he also didn't account for the fact it's fucking Japan. It's sooooo much harder to monkeybranch around jobs in Japan in comparison to most other nations. Especially if you're a retard with no discernable skills, nor fluent in Japanese. I know he listed his proficiency as intermediate or some dumb shit like that, but can he even follow most native conversations that aren't? The type where they aren't intentionally slowing down, or using unconventional lingo, so that he can keep up?

Really, the dude stood no chance. Maybe if there wasn't hundreds of retards nipping at the heel to replace him in his role because they want to go over there for the same exact reasons that he did. The only difference being those people are exponentially more qualified and capable than Chibi for the sheer fact it's Chibi. My only guess for potential options that don't involve him flying back to the US, tail between his legs, are either:

- Some sort of employment involved with the military base.

- Taking a similar role in Korea

I have no idea how viable, or even possible, the former is, but I'd at least do due diligence and research it if I were him. The latter would basically be an identical situation, but maybe it's not as....uhhh... difficult as it is in Japan? No idea, but I'd figure I'd throw it out there. Ofc I doubt he's consider it an option, solely because he's a weeabo and not a Koreaboo.

This is Chibi we're talking about. He only heard "Tokyo" and "job" and that was all he needed to sign the papers.

He also said that if this didn't work he could just transfer to an IT position. So... why hasn't he? Oh that's right he totally lacks the skills and the knowledge to do so.

I think the biggest surprise is that his location hasn’t been revealed based upon his door yet. If he were a more prevalent and interesting cow, this would’ve been done immediately. Wyświetl załącznik 8594592
Not much you can get from just a door like that. It's pretty standard in a lot of short term rental apartments. You have one room with a bed and desk and not much else. A short hallway with a bathroom, small galley kitchen and toilet room and that's about it.
