Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

dont want a single goy to die for israel.

how do you look at someone who is a Zionist that believes in Jewish self determination and the right of Jews to defend themselves and go "they dont want to fight"

only time someone died for someone else is when Israel was being shot at by Saddam Hussein and the US ordered Israel not to fight back because it would destroy the Arab coalition against Saddam.
Israel has always considered the potential costs of America fighting beside the IDF as outweighing the obvious benefits. Before 1991 it was the possibility of the Soviets coming in and oopsy woopsy WW3. The other potential cost was demolishing America's relationships with the Arab states, which would in turn harm Israel's interest of not having America really pissed off at it

But that calculation may have changed. Since the USSR ain't around no mo, the Arab states not so secretly wouldn't mind at all if the Ayatollahs got ACKED, Israel can't destroy the Ayatollahs by itself, their continued rule has reached an unacceptable threat level to Israel... and Zognald has already had the US act as a full war ally twice with Israel against Iran in the last two years, with the only (big) exception being America didn't fight Iran offensively except for Midnight Hammer

Retarded take on all points, why would millions of people be on some foreign governments payroll?
They're both nuclear powered aircraft carriers, the fuel works on half-lives, it doesn't matter if they're doing anything or not, the fuel will last the same time which is 20 years. The people on them are getting paid either way too, so not like much extra money is being used for this.
You don't know how a nuclear reactor works and what is the half life of nuclear fuel do you?

Big diaspora demonstrations were held on Valentine's Day as called for by Pahlavi, who himself made an appearance at the Munich Security Conference & gave a speech to the protesters there.

250,000+ was the figure I saw being reported for Munich, where the protesters mostly gathered in the Theresenwiese (a huge field/park normally used for the Oktoberfest celebrations):

300,000-400,000 people showed up to the Toronto protest:

Various smaller international rallies, starting with London:

Dallas (apparently bigger Iranian-American protests were planned for DC and LA but are either still in preparation or only just starting as of this writing):

And so on, so forth. Pahlavi himself took various questions at the Munich Security Conference:

To follow up on this post from yesterday, the Iranian-Americans of LA (Tehrangeles if you will) have now held their protest and turned out in numbers to rival Toronto at 350,000. R/NewIran has at least one video of the event & a compilation of clips from similar demonstrations around the world. Unsurprisingly, these demonstrations in general have been far cleaner & less riotous than the pro-Palestine protests pitched by the left back before the ceasefire took hold in Gaza.

In Iran itself, since peaceful protest's been made impossible the campaign of suspicious explosions/fires continues, most notably in very recent days a mosque has been burned down.

Tell us something we don't know.

I once made my own deep fried oreos.

I really wish Trump would stop trying to get his peace prize and just full Mean-tweets-but-IRL on these dictators.
They will never give it to him. Even if he brought literal world peace they would never give it to him. Remember they gave one to Obama for literally not being bush and for being the first black president.
Never underestimate Khamenei's ability to be an omega cucked boomer retard
Seriously it's boomer vs boomer vs boomer, all three are entrenched in their views who will win this pissing match? it's the usa

Trump should have concentrated on Iran if he aimed for regime change during the anti-protests, rather than diverting attention to Greenland sperging like a attention whore girl on Tiktok.
The timing was disastrous for the protests, you know damn well if the attack on Venezuela wasn't delayed and and went ahead on the original date of Christmas, they wouldn't have been protesting in Iran which started the 28th. That timing totally caught America flatfooted since it was only January 9th Trump decided we didn't need to remove the communists from power with JDAMs

Sorry, brain fart by by me, I was thinking of the end product, not fission. Either way, it lasts 20-25 years as fuel so it doesn't matter much.
Sub reactors last that long on the really high end of scale.
Ship ones don't. 5-6 years is max at full power, which can be extended if you accept running at half steam. The replacement is very tricky as ship needs to be cut apart or have huge hole cut in it. It is all a very pricy operation.
Cheaper than diesel/oil that it burns, but it's not free.

Incorrect. The nimitz/ford class undergoes its first reactor refuel and refurb at around 23 years of age. It takes a couple of years to complete this refueling operation. Subs are the ones that tend to have shorter refuelling schedules, because they operate under much more extreme conditions. The reactor is refuelled and refurbished as part of a general maintenance overhaul.

Go back to turd world simping. Naval reactors rarely run at full power. 20-25 years before being "refueled" is in fact the standard for the reactors on the Nimitz and Ford classes

Its not free but having them sit in port and/or sail around the world NOT bombing turd worldists is also not free.

Its a pay to have, moreso than a pay to use.

It is stated that fuel is depleted after 23 years. That means no propulsion.
The reactor output significantly drops by then and you are basically running on vapors. If you accept 50% output power, sure, you can ride it for 10+ years.
As I've said: "5-6 years is max at full power, which can be extended if you accept running at half steam." If you reduce reactor drain you'll ride it out for longer.
You always need reactor reserve to keep pumps and aux operational and there is a power level cut off where the reactor is unsafe to operate due to inherent instability that weak fuel produces which limits the practical cycle. Clogged evaporators and condensers will further drop output on already weak reactor.
USS Nimitz last refuel was in 2001 which means it is well due for a change in 2026.
Given the ship's age it's getting scrapped this year.
Virginia sub has 33 yr projected reactor life, ohios are at around 20.

Amazing technology of what is basically a floating city with life support.
Its a pay to have, moreso than a pay to use.
Just bleeding your money constantly.
