Watching around 9:00 in the stream. Its rich seeing Wings compare himself to Burnt Peanut. I'm not much into streaming culture, but any time I've seen a Burnt Peanut stream he's high energy and looks like he's having a good time. He's obviously talented as a streamer. That's why he has a following. Its not because he is supremely talented at video games at an elite level.

Its like... No Wings. Your lack of success is not because of a "bias" against you. Its because your streams are not entertaining to watch. Your whole shtick is sitting in a poorly lit room and staring at your stream deadpan, then whining when you lose. That worked in 2008 when you where the only guy doing it, but the scene is more competitive now. You don't stand out any more.

The whole stream gave a real interesting insight into the psychology of these two. They really think that their dwindling relevancy is because a few dysgenic weirdos on the internet don't like them. Plenty of people have "detractors". Logan Paul has more haters than fans and is fabulously wealthy. Hell, the current US president has an army of A-Logs, but that wasn't enough to keep him out of the White House.

They really can't see their own flaws, the things they need to improve on. Maybe they've conditioned themselves to ignore any criticism whatsoever after years of trolling.

Since im the person doing the spreadsheet, I can tell you that Phil has a couple hundred dolphins currently. All his kick support is a few whales, the occasional tourist, or ICS on sock accounts. Anyways, his current route isnt sustainable as more of those dolphins and whales drop off every year. If he bothered to look into the people giving him money, you've got insane creeps like ics, losers like step-dad living in squalor while giving Phil enough money that could be used to improve his surroundings, incels like icabali who collects anime sooner figures, and mentally incompetent bums like limbo. This business model isnt sustainable long term. If we keep up the CURRENT rate of missed goals, his income this year might be around 125k when he made 157k last year. That's a lot of money for someone who spends like crazy like Phil does.

Basically the "1000 true fans" concerpt is the entertainment equivalent of your regulars at an average sandwich shop/Best Buy or what have you. It's the core part of the business that you can reliably depend on for revenue, who will stick by you in thick or thin. That doesn't mean you should solely depend on them, but they are the bedrock your condo is built upon so to speak. But of course Phil takes this literally and pushes it to such an extreme it ends up working in some unholy way.

I think it just means that Phil has had other drunken conversations like this, they just weren't streamed live by the other person.
