Disaster Active shooter alert issued for areas in and around Tumbler Ridge, B.C. - Residents asked to shelter in place; suspect described as "woman" in a dress with brown hair

An active shooter alert has been issued for a large area in and around Tumbler Ridge in B.C.'s northeast.

The alert was issued Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. PT by RCMP, and it covers Tumbler Ridge, Chetwynd, Dawson Creek and areas surrounding them.

Police say those in the Tumbler Ridge area should stay indoors and shelter in place, and not leave their homes.

The suspect in the case has been described as a woman in a dress with brown hair.

Anyone who sees the suspect has been asked not to approach them and to call 911.

• His last reply (can't see what time the repost of the family guy ai video happened) happened at 10:32am Tumblr Ridge time, when the reports of a shooter started coming in at 1:20pm Tumblr Ridge time.
• The number of accounts it followed when it was archived fiveish hours ago was 50, and it is currently 46
• I can't figure out what twitter is doing, but this tweet (a) from Feb 9 loads for me as @HisuiPapist

So I think maybe it is a larper, and X is just fucking up with saying the last username change was last month.

The mother’s Facebook account states that she’s single. In one of the shooter’s posts on WPD he talks about how his stepfather tried killing himself when he was a young. He wished he actually died in the attempt. This was on a video of an Indian guy killing himself in front of his kids.

My guess is that he and his four siblings are the result of his mother sleeping around with different men. This guy probably never had a stable father figure in his life. Single mine labourers aren’t usually the most reliable people. No wonder he found himself trooning out and doing the shit he did online.

BBC News ran with "woman in a dress" too. The language is a tell. It's possible a witness did use those words but if the shooter was a woman and witnesses could clearly see it was a woman, of what relevance would "in a dress" be? Is it that unusual for a woman to wear a dress?

BBC News also mentioned last night that there was no information on the "gender" of the attacker. I don't give a fuck about the "gender" of the attacker; I would expect the sex of the attacker to be reported once known in the same way I'd expect to be told their age, but the fact you think I'm interested makes it look like the BBC's caping for another tranny criminal. Again, it's possible someone in the newsroom honestly meant sex when they put "gender" in the autocue script, but I'm not willing to extend that courtesy to outlets that have a history of affirming killers.

To be fair it is unusual for young women to wear dresses in modern Canada outside of special occasions, especially in the middle of winter.
