It just hit me that over the course of last week, Feb 2-8, he banned over 769 people, That's almost triple his audience gone, like that, in an instant, fucking gone.

Dave doesn't know what he'll do. At this point it's just a thing that'll float him a few months and increase the Saudi's wealth fund. You can PigPigGo Refinance and see all the shit he says he will do and usually it's to renovate the condo and before the Kino King Arc it was to pay bills.
He just wants the money so he can spend said money on something, anything.

The Dragon Quest stream featured all the classic, shameless pigroach begging:

What's confusing is that after that endless begging stream, he just carries on that more DQ7 is coming. He can spew whatever, he clearly doesn't give a fuck about the game and isn't following the story. There's no logic in anything he does.

- Refinancing for a lower rate = good idea on long enough time scale and if the fees aren’t exorbitant/new rate is a big improvement
- Home equity loan = this is what Phil wants to do as I understand it. Makes sense when you’re going to use the money to renovate and greatly improve your life or home’s sales price OR start your dream business OR if junior is getting framed for murder and needs a good lawyer. Phil isn’t going to do any of those things. He’s going to blow the money.

Washington has some of the mildest weather in the country. The only place with better overall weather than WA is coastal California, which is much more expensive than anywhere including Washington. Oregon has comparable weather and is comparably expensive.
Phil could move to Maine or North Dakota for cheaper COL but they have hot summers as well as cold, cold winters. You just know he’d be shivering for 6 months of the year and bitching that it’s 110 degrees in the studio the other 6 months in those places.

The "CALL FOR ACTION" begging is the most insane part. I'm usually really lenient around Phil being insane but that actually made my blood boil.

He was never all that subtle to begin with but it really does feel recently like the mask is falling off more and more. Outright just saying "call to action" repeatedly and hammering his mushbrained audience with it to pressure them into donating, it was like him just losing patience and getting right to the point.
And then there's that 100 dollar Super Bowl animation. So blatantly the first vaguely sportsball-related AI slop animation he found from a quick search and plugged in, but the way he hyped it up as some big deal - surely that shows a blatant scorn (shoutout Scorn) for the intelligence of his paypigs and knowing he can scam at least one of them with it. Then, even after everyone could see with their own eyes it was awful, he tried to get someone to send another 100 for it!
It's getting to the point it's not that farfetched to imagine by the end of this year he will drop all pretenses entirely and just sit there every stream, not playing or doing anything, simply playing his AI slop music while he twitches and sways and pressures individual viewers by name to give him money.

I hope we get full mask-off gravedancing today over 2XKO (fronted by one half of the evil Cannon brothers). The prophet Darksydephil forsaw that releasing a F2P fighting game with $20 skins aimed exclusively at the absolute dregs of the FGC who have been playing Marvel 2 on fightcade for 20 years would not be a worthwhile endeavour.
This surely means that he's also right about the FGC's opinion on online gameplay has been swayed by rollback lobbyists and the other cannon is a fraud, as exposed by Phil 25 years ago in an IRC chat.
Nothing to do with Phil being salty and jealous that they created what went on to become EVO while he created what went on to become DSPReacts! and them banning him on their forum almost 3 decades ago.
This surely means that he's also right about the FGC's opinion on online gameplay has been swayed by rollback lobbyists and the other cannon is a fraud, as exposed by Phil 25 years ago in an IRC chat.

Holy fuck, the DQ7 begging is disgusting. At one stage he wants money TODAY if you like any of the other games he’s playing! (But also tip when he’s playing those games).

Whenever he events a new way to indirectly ask for money behind some new thinly veiled weasel words he always spams it to oblivion without any shame that he's essentially still just begging for money. In his brain if he says "support" or "contributions" instead of money, its not actually begging for money. Its really just disgusting how comfortable he is asking for money.

To be completely fair, most of those are likely socks. However there were names/messages in the ban logs that didn't seem like detractor names and/or had messages that seemed like they could have been people stopping in and offering fair critique. There had to be at least a couple genuine viewers banned. For certain his audience is not growing, which you'd think would be a problem but hey I'm not a sussessful content creator businessman mature married adult with a family so what do I know.
That was probably my favorite part. The guy said he was gonna donate to SF6 and Phil told him "well why not donate NOW?" This from the guy who the day before crashed out about someone asking about his useless Rhode microphones, saying that how he spends his money is his business.
Hypocrisy aside, what he's saying doesn't even make sense given HIS model! He set up the wage quit model, it's the cornerstone of his business! Games you like you pay for, the ones you don't pay for get axed. Why the fuck would someone donate to a game they don't like? The goal isn't $20, it's not some small amount that might get hit regardless, you gotta shell the fuck out for games you want to stay.
But of course it isn't made to make sense. He wants the money now because it would mean that he could play this slop that he likes but no one else wants to see. Not hitting the goal for DQ7 means that he's trapped dancing for the whales and he hates it.
