Algerian Olympic Boxer Imane Khelif Admits To Having Male Sex Chromosome For The First Time

Algerian boxer Imane Khelif has confirmed he has a Y chromosome, indicating he is biologically male. In a new interview with French sports outlet L’Equipe, Khelif also admitted to having elevated testosterone levels, which he says he has been medically suppressing under the supervision of a doctor.

Khelif has been the subject of extreme controversy since the 2024 Paris Olympics, after Reduxx first revealed that he had previously been disqualified by the International Boxing Association’s (IBA) Women’s World Boxing Championships after failing a sex test. The news sparked a firestorm of backlash, with the IBA coming out in opposition to the Olympic’s decision to allow biological males to box against women in Paris.

Attempting to address the controversy, the IBA held a press conference in August of 2024, repeatedly confirming that Khelif had failed multiple chromosomal tests. The IBA also revealed they had been barred from releasing the results of those tests by the Algerian Olympic Committee. It is reported that during the press conference, BBC journalists walked out in support of Khelif.

Despite the IBA’s findings, the International Olympic Committee allowed Khelif to continue boxing in the women’s 66kg category, where he ultimately took gold.

Since then, multiple leaked medical reports have been released, all of which indicate Khelif has a disorder of sexual development and is biologically male.

One leaked report, which was drafted in June of 2023 via a collaboration between the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital in Paris and the Mohamed Lamine Debaghine hospital in Algiers, revealed that Khelif is impacted by 5-alpha reductase deficiency, a disorder of sexual development that is only found in biological males.

The genetic abnormality influences the normal development of a child’s sexual organs. At birth, male babies impacted are often incorrectly assigned female due to the presence of deformed genitalia that sometimes takes on the appearance of a “blind vaginal pouch.” This disordered development typically becomes apparent by puberty, when impacted adolescents begin to experience signs of masculinization such as muscle growth, hair growth, and an absence of breast tissue development or menstruation.

In 2025, yet another test was leaked by Olympic press committee member Alan Abrahamson, confirming once again that Khelif has a male karyotype.

Khelif has now admitted to having XY chromosomes for the first time in a new interview with French sports outlet L’Equipe.

In the interview, Khelif confirmed he has the SRY gene carried on a Y chromosome. ‘SRY’ stands for Sex-determining Region of the Y, a gene that initiates typical male sexual development by triggering testes formation.

Khelif also clarified that he was not transgender and pointed to his upbringing as a ‘girl,’ stating: “I am not a trans woman, I am a girl. I was raised as a girl, I grew up as a girl, the people in my village have always known me as a girl.”

However, individuals with disorders of sexual development are not considered transgender, and without access to proper clinical examination, males with similar disorders of sexual development may incorrectly believe they are female into adulthood. Global health researchers have noted that rare developmental conditions are systematically under-diagnosed or misdiagnosed in low-resource countries – such as Khelif’s home of Algeria – for this reason.

As previously reported by Reduxx, Khelif’s coach had previously noted the boxer had been incredibly shocked by the results of his karyotype test in 2023 following his disqualification by the International Boxing Association.

In an exclusive interview with Le Point magazine in 2024, Georges Cazorla spoke of Khelif’s distress after being disqualified by the IBA, confirming that the biological tests had been carried out by the IBA that revealed that Khelif may not be female – something which appeared to blindside Khelif.

“The [disqualification] was based on tests. Frankly, I found it disgusting. Regardless of the results of these biological tests and, without going into detail – that is a matter for biologists and doctors – this poor young girl was devastated, devastated to suddenly discover that she might not be a girl,” Cazorla said.

Despite the admission by Khelif’s coach and the repeat medical record leaks confirming Khelif was biologically male, mainstream media outlets and activists continued to insist that Khelif was female and had simply been the victim of a “transphobic smear campaign” which targeted him because of his appearance.

In his interview with L’Equipe, Khelif expressed optimism about his career and insisted he intended to defend his Olympic gold in Los Angeles in 2028. But Khelif does not acknowledge that as a direct result of the controversy caused by his participation in Paris, World Boxing introduced mandatory sex testing for all boxers in its competitions last year. World Boxing is the international governing body for the sport, and is currently the IOC’s official partner federation for Olympic boxing.

Khelif has filed a complaint with the Court of Arbitration for Sport against World Boxing for its sex testing policy, but has said he would be willing to submit to sex testing “only if it is administered by the IOC.”

At this time, it is unclear if Khelif or the Algerian Olympic Committee have reached a quiet agreement with the IOC regarding his participation—possibly securing an exception that would allow athletes with disorders of sexual development to compete in their self-identified category. However, this is currently just speculation and no formal announcement of such an accommodation has been made.

As it stands, World Boxing’s policy explicitly restricts participation in the women’s category to biological females and, in November of 2025, the International Olympic Committee hinted that it would be adopting a similar policy intended to prevent males from participating in the women’s category in 2026.

While Khelif communicated that he was confident he will pass a sex test, he has previously exited competitions which required him to do so. He has also withdrawn Court of Arbitration for Sport appeals which would have likely required him to undergo a sex test to demonstrate his claims that he is biologically female.

People with 5ARD have a functioning SRY gene, therefore they develop as male. Just malformed males, because they're insensitive to the form of t that makes the dick grow properly.
They are not insensitive to DHT; they simply don't produce it due to the deficiency. They'd respond to exogenous DHT, though.
CAIS are considered a type of XY female as essentially although XY, their bodies literally can't masculinise at all.
AIS people are males. And they have an advantage due to longer limbs:
Males with PAIS/CAIS don't respond to androgens like normal males. While they don't benefit in the same way from testosterone and other androgens, on average, they're taller than women and have longer limbs.

Combined, those two androgen insensitivity syndromes have a prevalence rate of about 1/75,000. In the 1996 Olympics, the female events had a total of 3,387 entrants. However, sex testing revealed 4 males with PAIS and 3 with CAIS. Using some monkey math, that'd show them overrepresented by an approximate 155x rate.

That alone should confer an obvious male advantage.
I deserve a personal hand-written apology from everyone who had the audacity to insist this broad-shouldered gorilla was anything but a man.
Here's a convo between me and a friend on 8/14/24 who responded to my Facebook story on this travesty:
Friend: Isn't it illegal to be trans in Algeria?

Me: Yes. He's not trans though. He is just a male with a DSD who was incorrectly listed as female at birth because Algeria is a developing country that doesn't have the means to diagnose something like that. But he knows he's a man at this point because he's went through male puberty and doesn't have a period.

So it's probably not only a lifestyle choice but a matter of legality to not live life as a male at this point because "transitioning" would indeed be illegal even though he's actually a male.

Friend: So the dude had a dick fighting? You don't think these people go through physicals at all before fighting? Sounds obtuse but idk.

Me: No, he has a DSD. Disorder of sex development. Ambiguous genitalia due to the disorder. Males will have traditionally phenotypically female traits, i.e., the appearance of a vagina. In a developing country like Algeria that doesn't have strong prenatal screening, especially 20 years ago or whatever, is unlikely to catch it. There's a reason why none of the males with DSDs like 5-ARD come from America. We are developed and can tell shit like that.

And no, I really don't think they do have very stringent tests to make sure they are women. The Olympics literally said there is no reliable way to determine someone's sex (lmfao). They polled the female athletes a few years back as to whether they would prefer genetic screening to make sure there are just females competing. Something like 82% said yes. The Olympics abandoned it anyway and now they just go by whether a birth certificate or passport says female. That's obviously completely fucking stupid because it opens up the risk of males with disorders of sex development competing with women. But the IOC is ideologically captured by the gender cult.

Anyway, not trans and not male with a dick. Male with ambiguous genitalia who has went through male puberty, receiving all the benefits of the masculinization via testosterone that necessitate sexed sports in the first place.

While they definitely know they are not females at this point, it's not the same as someone like Lia Thomas who is just a regular creepy dude with a paraphilia. They likely believed they were women until puberty. People in Algeria might actually not believe that they are men due to the lack of education in their society about this thing. Perhaps that part of China too or Taipei or whatever the fuck. They don't deserve ridicule or hatred for living their lives as women, but it's completely unfair to allow them to compete with women because they are actually male.

And because our society is backwards and completely fucking stupid in every aspect, morons think they're being progressive and inclusive and helpful by shit-talking actual women like the Italian boxer who tapped out immediately. She's a female boxer at the Olympic level and she said she's never been hit that hard; she obviously trains with men like all female boxers do. And people are laughing at her like she's just some pussy who couldn't take a punch when it's a male who went through male puberty who punched her in her fucking face as a man and broke her nose.

It's pathetic. Final answer.
The levels of ideological capture in our institutions are so insane that you just sound like a lunatic being well-informed. Granted, I sperged a bit there, but this was at the height of my realization that the world has gone insane.

Is there a term for people who only argue a position until it's clear they're wrong? Not indicative of my acquaintance in this chat, but just in general, I hate that shit.

I'd be more circumspect with those kinds of statements. A lot of Kiwis like to accuse companies of sucking tranny dick if they even look in their direction, but there is a difference between being trans converts and not wanting your shit kicked in. The Olympics and sports organisations in general do not want an international incident about discrimination.

Remember transgenderism isn't an ideology, it's a political group identity that is self-defined, broad and absolute, and I've seen evidence it's not an accident because Imane has to separate themself from the term. It no longer becomes a question of biology anymore, it's political, and common sense becomes irrelevant. Now, it's not a question of biology, it's the politics of biology, and you have no clue what public opinion is as transgenders basically don't exist in many countries. So you do the safe thing and pretend that this gender thing is just too hard to figure out. And to be fair, it's the countries that send them. One thing that this Imane thing might do is create a stigma about countries sending trans athletes anyway.

The world hasn't gone insane, it's the logical result of studiously apolitical organisations and institutions trying to commit fraud in peace having to suddenly deal with a new class of person who's existence creates so many problems that the sanest option is to play retarded.

This is quite literally what it means when an organization is ideologically captured. The mission is no longer to promote the best in athletics across the world, but to use the athletic competition to promote the ideology. If it weren't captured, you'd be able to speak freely. reddit is a captured platform (well, a curated one, in my opinion) and you'll get banned for stating basic biology.
Now, it's not a question of biology, it's the politics of biology, and you have no clue what public opinion is as transgenders basically don't exist in many countries.
"Transgenders" don't exist period.
So you do the safe thing and pretend that this gender thing is just too hard to figure out. And to be fair, it's the countries that send them. One thing that this Imane thing might do is create a stigma about countries sending trans athletes anyway.
A man can only beat up women in the Olympics because the IOC refused to administer a one-time Buccal swab. 80%+ of the female athletes wanted this, but they said no. The head of the IOC recently said there actually is no way to determine someone's sex. Keeping males out of female sports, especially COMBAT sports, is the bare minimum. And it's impossible to fuck up normally, but when the entire world (and multiple accredited testing labs) are saying, "Hey, this is a guy. Stop this!", I refuse to believe it's just people "playing it safe."
The world hasn't gone insane, it's the logical result of studiously apolitical organisations and institutions trying to commit fraud in peace having to suddenly deal with a new class of person who's existence creates so many problems that the sanest option is to play retarded.
Yeah, I don't agree. A deliberate disinformation campaign is corrupting our youth, especially, via public school indoctrination. They are groomed into anti-reality beliefs; nonsense has wrapped its tendrils around unequivocal facts and people genuinely believe men can be women or that there are more than two sexes.

Sure, the average person isn't an evil Marxist knowingly spreading nonsense, but the deliberate effort from ideologues is still in effect. The average person simply can't really tell the difference between what is true and what is claimed to be true.

The mission is no longer to promote the best in athletics across the world, but to use the athletic competition to promote the ideology.
I wonder if the ideological concern in this case wasn't "some women do have Y chromosomes actually" but "Russia is not allowed to influence the current world order" given the boxing association that originally exposed him is based in Mordor.

They raised awareness to the athletes failing tests, but the tests were performed in different countries because the next competitions were quite a while into the future and elsewhere. New Delhi and Istanbul, I think. Plus Imane had a French endocrinologist confirm the "chromosome issues" or whatever. I think the Russia shit is a red herring like most "DEBAAAAUNKED" claims that highlight trannies being awful.

Plus it wouldn't be sticking it to the Russkies by ignoring this. It'd be handing them an easy win. "You ban us for cheating with our athletes, but we were the only ones willing to ban these men from women's boxing!"

If you search his name now, you get a ton of Arabic publications talking about him firing back at Trump and (seemingly) nothing about this interview, with a bunch of Nafris screeching about Trump and Epstein for whatever reason.

Basically, Imane has the microdick, while other Algerians are experiencing clitty leakage.

Having a Y chromosome means you're indeed a male and can never be a woman.

He has fucked up genitalia, which sucks. But is biologically male. He's also very likely to be infertile and can't produce children without fertility treatments. Marrying cousins who many cousins who marry cousins seems to be a big culprit.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK539904/

The disease is very rare among white patients. Due to a large number of consanguineous marriages, there is a high prevalence of 5α-RD2 deficiency in the population of the Dominican Republic; the first reported case of 5α-RD2 deficiency was also from the same island. Apart from the Caribbean, this disease is also present in southern Lebanon and Papua New Guinea.[5] This condition was identified in patients in 1993. Two forms of 5α-reductase deficiency were described, and 2 genes were cloned.[6]

Caster whatshisface tried this same excuse then fucked a woman and fathered a child, if he had the instinct to fuck with his penis he knew he was a man
That's Caster SEMENya to all of you uncultured swine! Also I find it more than a bit un-ironic and quite funny that two of the biggest names in the tranny/DSD bullshit are named Caster  SEMENya and I MANe Khelif. Its like the writers of clownworld are trolling all of us at this point.

And don't forget that "somehow" Castor and his wife fathered 2 children together. But the actual details are murky and the usual journoscum aren't just tiptoeing around the situation, they're running from it like it's a fucking grenade about to blow up.

Come to think of it, "somehow" Britney Griner and his wife have had a kid together as well. Oh, and "she" insists on the kid calling them "dad".

I wonder if the ideological concern in this case wasn't "some women do have Y chromosomes actually" but "Russia is not allowed to influence the current world order" given the boxing association that originally exposed him is based in Mordor.

That's absolutely part of it. I have no doubt that the usual suspects would have tried to push through the gender ideology bullshit no matter what, but the fact that Russia is the Current Thing™️ to rail against was an angle they could lead with. All that was missing was if IMANe had been from a third world Muslim shithole terrorist haven Palestine.

The discovery of a small community in the Dominican Republic, where some males are born looking like girls and only grow penises at puberty, has led to the development of a blockbuster drug that has helped millions of people, writes Michael Mosley.
Johnny lives in a small town in the Dominican Republic where he, and others like him, are known as "Guevedoces", which effectively translates as "penis at twelve".
We came across Johnny when we were filming for a new BBC Two series Countdown to Life, which looks at how we develop in the womb and how those changes, normal and abnormal, impact us later in life.
Like the other Guevedoces, Johnny was brought up as a girl because he had no visible testes or penis and what appeared to be a vagina. It is only when he approached puberty that his penis grew and testicles descended.
Johnny, once known as Felicita, remembers going to school in a little red dress, though he says he was never happy doing girl things.

"I never liked to dress as a girl and when they bought me toys for girls I never bothered playing with them - when I saw a group of boys I would stop to play ball with them."
When he became obviously male he was taunted at school, and responded with his fists.
"They used to say I was a devil, nasty things, bad words and I had no choice but to fight them because they were crossing the line."
We also filmed with Carla, who at the age of seven is on the brink of changing into Carlos. His mother has seen the change coming for quite a while.
"When she turned five I noticed that whenever she saw one of her male friends she wanted to fight with him. Her muscles and chest began growing. You could see she was going to be a boy. I love her however she is. Girl or boy, it makes no difference."

So why does it happen? Well, one of the first people to study this unusual condition was Dr Julianne Imperato-McGinley, from Cornell Medical College in New York. In the 1970s she made her way to this remote part of the Dominican Republic, drawn by extraordinary reports of girls turning into boys.
When she got there she found the rumours were true. She did lots of studies on the Guevedoces (including what must have been rather painful biopsies of their testicles) before finally unravelling the mystery of what was going on.
When you are conceived you normally have a pair of X chromosomes if you are to become a girl and a set of XY chromosomes if you are destined to be male.
For the first weeks of life in womb you are neither, though in both sexes nipples start to grow.
Then, around eight weeks after conception, the sex hormones kick in. If you're genetically male the Y chromosome instructs your gonads to become testicles and sends testosterone to a structure called the tubercle, where it is converted into a more potent hormone called dihydro-testosterone This in turn transforms the tubercle into a penis. If you're female and you don't make dihydro-testosterone then your tubercle becomes a clitoris.

When Imperato-McGinley investigated the Guevedoces she discovered the reason they don't have male genitalia when they are born is because they are deficient in an enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase, which normally converts testosterone into dihydro-testosterone.
This deficiency seems to be a genetic condition, quite common in this part of the Dominican Republic, but vanishingly rare elsewhere. So the boys, despite having an XY chromosome, appear female when they are born. At puberty, like other boys, they get a second surge of testosterone. This time the body does respond and they sprout muscles, testes and a penis.
Imperato-McGinley's thorough medical investigations showed that in most cases their new, male equipment seems to work fine and that most Guevedoces live out their lives as men, though some go through an operation and remain female.
Another thing that Imperato-McGinley discovered, which would have profound implications for many men around the world, was that the Guevedoces tend to have small prostates.
This observation, made in 1974, was picked up by Roy Vagelos, head of research at the multinational pharmaceutical giant, Merck. He thought this was extremely interesting and set in progress research which led to the development of what has become a best-selling drug, finasteride, which blocks the action of 5-alpha-reductase, mimicking the lack of dihydro-testosterone seen in the Guevedoces.
My wife, who is a GP, routinely prescribes finasteride as it is an effective way to treat benign enlargement of the prostate, a real curse for many men as they get older. Finasteride is also used to treat male pattern baldness.
A final interesting observation that Imperato-McGinley made was that these boys, despite being brought up as girls, almost all showed strong heterosexual preferences. She concluded in her seminal paper that hormones in the womb matter more than rearing when it comes to your sexual orientation.
This is still a controversial topic and one I explore later in the film when I meet Mati, who decided from the earliest age that though "he" looked like a boy, Mati was really a girl.
As for Johnny, since he developed male genitalia he has had a number of short term girlfriends, but he is still looking for love. "I'd like to get married and have children, a partner who will stand by me through good and bad," he sighs wistfully.

Dude, trannies literally use this case to insist gender/sex are a "spectrum" AND that kids know their gender innately.
Try googling Guevedoces, and also note how there is 1 deformed dick photo and 2 pre-dick growth child photos, and the rest is drawn illustrations, obfuscating the reality

Dude, trannies literally use this case to insist gender/sex are a "spectrum" AND that kids know their gender innately.

Yeah, trannies and their apologists love to claim that anyone stating that sex is binary "has an 8th grade understanding of biology." This always makes me laugh because it is a demonstration of smug reddit-tier midwittery at its finest. It really is tragic though how many people can show that they've probably managed to get a college education, but never acquired the critical thinking skills to actually understand most of what they "learned."

I saved this excellent summary chart that someone posted in the Stinkditch forum somewhere that gives a simple, concise rundown of how to properly determine sex in people with DSDs that may cause confusion, and why we now know that referring to these as "intersex" conditions or a "sex spectrum" is incorrect.

dsdinfo.png

It's not hard to see why so many people with abnormalities like this make sports their whole identity, being born like that probably sucks and being a "female" athlete with a significant advantage probably feels like the only thing they have going for them (and that goes double if they're from a shithole country). It doesn't excuse continuing to cheat or beat on women once they unambiguously know about it, but I think that up until a few years ago most people had enough sympathy to make small social exceptions for those with actual DSDs, but then trannies pushed it too far and ruined that for everybody.

Come to think of it, "somehow" Britney Griner and his wife have had a kid together as well.

Yeah that's sus. She has children with another WNBA player she was married to years ago, also conceived with IVF and carried by her partner with not a word about where the sperm came from. You'd think someone so outspoken and public about being "gay" would talk about it to normalize gays having children and their options for doing so. I get the impression that Griner's condition has always been an open secret.

Great article, but what a weird statement. Dick-at-12 boys, as well as real girls, are "raised as girls" in the sense that they have girly names and wear dresses. They aren't being raped John Money style to inculcate a thirst for cock in them, they're raised normal and grow up normal.
Now if they compared normal children to molested children -- but this will cost a soyentist her job.

Sure, the average person isn't an evil Marxist knowingly spreading nonsense,
Can any of you solzhenitsyn rapehons explain why the US imposed faggotry (1993) and troonism (1997) on the USSR's corpse?
Can any of you solzhenitsyn rapehons explain why the US had to impose faggotry (1993) and troonism (1997) on the USSR's corpse? (i.e. why weren't those already the law)
inb4 "to weaken the country": ok why, then, did they impose capitalism? wouldn't it make more sense to keep Russia communist, because communism baaaaaaaaad?
Capitalism is faggotry. Capitalism is troonism. Capitalism is porn. Capitalism is child grooming. Get raped, solzhenitsyn.

What makes it worse is that he's demanding people to unfriend him if they don't subscribe to this trans cult.

And to top it off, several of the friends agree with him, furthering the delusion!

If this Imane Khelif is really a woman she is ugly ass mother fucker.
