Part of the reason I think this is happening is because of Reddit. On Reddit, there’s been an extremely strong push to get every influencer and celebrity to “speak up” about ICE, lest they get cancelled for being “secretly MAGA.” Even people that outright say they don’t want to discuss politics are getting the “MAGA” and “fascist” accusations. These influencers and celebrities are terrified of the Reddit mob, so they’re making videos, releasing statements, and posting on social media in order to not have the Reddit mob come after them.
