Phil evidently thought Asmongold was literally going to be his friend and there would possibly be a collab happening in the future. I never watched the interview myself because I'm not gay like people that watch Asmongold but the impression I got is that he kind of tuned out half way through the interview and just plodded along - after the interview DSP kept saying shit like "its possible I'll collab again with Asmon after it" and built up this idea that Asmon and him were cool now which basically means that Asmongold would stop making fun of Phil and be his best buddy forever and ever.

Asmongold then going and even mentioning Phil in a slightly negative light is a top 10 anime betrayal for Phil Burnell.

He's been betrayed by all the following anime characters and more:
  • PPP
  • Andy Warski
  • Jahn Rahmbo and that other faggot from project 7
  • Pandalee
  • Many others

He has no friends at all. He still can't figure out that the reason he has no friends and people make fun of him is that he is a piece of shit.

I watched some of the Asmongoloid stuff even though I find that roach very repellent and annoying in his own right. Yeah he didn't tear into Phil and hate on him or anything exactly, but I think the point is that he just pointed and laughed at Phil's gameplay and begging again which is all he has ever done to Phil so we are back where we started. Asmond still doesn't know much about Phil even after talking to him and just sees him as a shit gamer who begs you are meant to laugh at and move on. That's perfectly fine and crushes any idea that Phil thought he had gained any respect. We should be getting some more gold dust soon because of this. He really did sound almost on the verge of tears last night.

Also this is just a little aside, but I find it incredibly cringe how much this 45 year old lesbian manly man is looking for crumbs of clout from guys significantly younger than him. It's just creepy how he hounds these guys and wants to text them at sexual hours for their attention and, in LTG's case, BBC. I guess I should just look past it though because as he says 150 times a day he is happy 💪

He still made fun of dsp . Making him look stupid in front of 50k ppl . It wasnt that bad but you know dsp is seething hard atm .

No this is not the same as where this started.
This started with Asmon mogging on DSP in his stream. DSP did not like this and wanted a chance to defend himself so annoyed Asmon on twitter until he landed an "interview".

However you think the interview went, it's clear that DSP thought he had proven himself and that Amsongold was basically his friend.

For Asmongold to make fun of Phil again is a huge betrayal for Phil. Multiple people have said we was on the verge of crying over this.

People need to comprehend that Phil has no friends and no social contact in his life and calls his parents once a month or whatever. Him doing an "interview" and chatting with Asmongold was literally the highlight of his month. It's not only because Asmongold is super famous but also because Phil has no friends - so this one "relationship" with Asmongold is super big in Phil's world.

For Asmongold to publicly make fun (even slightly) of Phil is a huge betrayal in Phil's eyes.

You forget, 2024 was the year of "Everything has changed" when Kino Casino gave him a chance, everyone loved him again, and he spent thousands of dollars to improve his bootleg streams.

Then again, 2025 was the year of "Everything has changed" when Asmongold gave him a chance, everyone loved him again, and he spent thousands of dollars to improve his bootlegs streams.

Who will it be in 2026? Since Rogan and Phil are both handwaving the Henry Epstein files, maybe it will be Rogan who gives Phil a chance where everyone will love him again and he'll spend thousands of dollars to improve his bootleg streams.
 
While I don't think Asmongold was especially mean to Phil it was basically the same as how he reacted to Phil previously, which was so offensive to Phil that he kept trying to message him and eventually called him a bitch on twitter. Asmongold not being Phil's best bud and championing him on stream is a massive betrayal and I am sure that it has deeply upset him. With this I feel the circle is closed and we are well and truly done with the Asmongold Resurgence Arc.

I will say that I am glad this one was quicker. We went from Welcome... Home to Phil essentially chanting ATTEND ENGAGE SUPPORT on stream like a chaos space marine in under 10 weeks.

Sir Gold isn't helping it much with puttin a magnifying glass as an indifferent zoo patron. The overton window for Fuck Phil Festivals and lore will never be accepted for the general public.

Like, they do need to realize that LSF's subreddit is infused with the simpest shit on the internet where they know about relationships, controversies and other menial nonsense from the very popular guys, but if we know this about Phil, we are the crazy people(despite Phil being the one that overshares this information daily).

They just don't get it.

I fondly remember watching PoP restream his very first session of PC SF6, and he got matched up with that Blanka player that used to beat his ass (King i think). At one point they both used drive impact within a few frames of each other, and because DSP pressed it first, his DI lost to the other player. He spent about 5 minutes acking and seal clapping about how his response time was so low on PC that his reactions were too fast.

(Drive Impact is a universal mechanic with the exact same duration for every character. If your DI gets counterhit by the other guy's DI, that means you did the input before your opponent's DI animation started. Unless you're DSP, who apparently has a reaction time of negative 500 milliseconds.)

I hope Asmon keeps shitting on the Phil the amount of salt and seethe we got yesterday was incredible. He had multiple crashouts during the stream and even stayed over to keep crashing out.
