Just catching up on this thread after wagecucking it all day yesterday. I think my main takeaway is that a lot of people in this thread seem to have no idea how fucked the current dating environment is for zoomers, or, if they do acknowledge it, their main takeaway seems to just be "zoomers are retarded". Which, fair enough, but also not very descriptive. I think just blaming porn is a bit of a cop-out. It's certainly a contributing factor, and I would wager it definitely had an impact on Tom's taste in women, but I don't think him being a gooner is the only thing directly responsible for the shitstorm that ensued.

Disregarding the ageplay accusations, which I think are a whole other can of worms and the far more damning of the two accusations, I can't really say Tom's behavior is too surprising, all things considered. He reminds me of a bunch of guys I knew in college, and his mistakes very much mirror theirs. I see a lot of people here wanting to play armchair quarterback to try and determine what is and isn't morally acceptable behavior regarding his behavior in these, I guess, "situationships" is the term zoomers use now. The fact of the matter is, for Zoomers being brought up today in the modern political climate, there are no rules for sexual engagement beyond the bare minimum, "as long as both people consent". If you are the average Zoomer brought up in modern-day deracinated atheistic America, you were not given any rules of engagement for proper behavior in a sexual relationship beyond "make sure both people consent". Which, seems adequate on the surface but also is retarded when you think about it for more than 5 seconds. I've known tons of guys who did the exact same thing Tom did, well, without the violent sex part, they would naively enter into "friends with benefits" situationships with random women and think everything was going just swimmingly until someone eventually caught feelings and it blew up catastrophically in their face. I do blame these guys for being retards, but they were also following the rules that they were given. The people they were sleeping with enthusiastically consented and said they were totally okay with just being "friends with benefits". The guys were perfectly okay with essentially just being fuck-buddies and figured that the girls they were seeing were equally as okay with it, since again, we are all taught growing up that men and women are basically the exact same so why wouldn't women be just as okay with meaningless casual sex as guys are.

I think it's rather obvious that you are playing with fire getting into a sexual relationship like that, but if you want to say that his behavior is morally wrong, you kind of have to bite the bullet and say that despite the fact that the women he is talking to are adults, fully capable of moral agency and consent, that they are incapable of making the determination that they are okay with these friends with benifits situations. Even if they state on numerous occasions that they understand that he is not looking for a serious relationship and are totally okay with just being fuck-buddies, it is still wrong for Tom to engage in that behavior.


It is very obvious from the screenshots shown in the video that Rowan wanted more of a commitment from Tom, while he was happy simply being friends with benefits. He even used the "I'm not ready to be in a relationship" line, which is so cliché it almost made me laugh out loud. This isn't to excuse any of Tom's behavior, rather just an attempt to give a bit of perspective from someone the exact same age as Tom. Like I said, I've known a lot of guys that made the same exact mistake he did. I think it's something every guy has to figure out the hard way as they mature. Hopefully, he can learn from his mistakes and grow as a person, ideally finding someone to date exclusively and not continuing to fuck BPD e-whores he finds on Instagram. Though, judging from his pattern of behavior i'd say the chances of that are slim, but there's always hope.
