All the reasons I could come up with for why you would even need recordings are baffling: if he jerks off to it or keeps the videos as some trophy, that's just sad. If he shows them around or keeps them for blackmail or insurance, thats just messed up. I can't think of a good reason to do it, but maybe I'm just too naive - is this a normal thing to do nowadays?

I would caution Null that sometimes, assuming someone has nothing to gain by lying is bad heuristic for predicting whether they’re telling the truth though. Some people think in the extreme short term.

Years of making videos about catastrophic breakups and being friends with Destiny probably taught him that you should do this. Which was right in hindsight, as it dug him out a lot of the shit.

The call he showed is pretty similar to the Destiny-Ana Voir calls though where Destiny would act stoic during them while Ana had BPD episodes. It later came out Destiny was still egging her on in texts and acting completely different on calls, so I guess we need to wait and see if if a similar thing happened here or if the call was an accurate portrayal of Tom's situation.

Real talk? Good. She earned it. If you try to ruin someone's life by falsely accusing them of rape and you get killed for you got what you deserve. False rape accusations often lead to men taking their own lives. They get abandoned by everyone they know and can never live a normal life again. Completely innocent men. I have no pity for false rape accusers and I would consider them being removed from the planet to be a good and noble thing for society to do. The death penalty for 100% proven false rape accusations would be my ideal punishment.
