Really both, Rightwing/Christian Fundamentalist/Ultra-conservatives, and Leftwing/Super Progressive & Shit/ Atheist+, Feminist+, and what else shit +/Genderspecial/ are very much alike in the end. They sniff around in other people's crotches, trying to force their idea of sexuality, and appropriate sexual partners on them, and pretty often both sides have pretty nasty skeletons in their closets or even lying openly around. All the while each of their cults refuse to acknowledge the gigantic pile of elephant dung in the room.
EDIT: As an afterthought, and I think the leftists are worse in dealing with the predators among them. As far as I can remember, whenever some ultraconservative politician or shit was found with a male prostitute in a public toilet, it was the end for them.
